First up here's a look at "The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part":
This LEGO Movie 2 looks neat. I still love the way they animated it, stop-motion-ysh style. Sad to see Lord & Miller leave directing duties here as well. (*cough*SOLO*cough*)
I dig the Mad Max-post apocalypse vibe. Not sure a second one will keep the same surprises for the end, but you can sort of see they will continue that background narrative here with the instable world. Also, Chris Pratt always gets my vote.
And about the same time Disney unveiled a new proper trailer for Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2:
I always said "Ralph Breaks The Internet" was a bad title and reference, and the characters even make fun of that! Was that forced by the PR department? Anyways, this on the other hand came off an equally commercial "advertisement" product as the first LEGO movie, and yet... this sequel seems way too much BUY OUR STUFF! LOOK AT OUR BRANDS than the original. It comes dangerously close to EMOJI movie territory in my eyes. I liked the cutesy funny princess sequence, but all the other... looking at all the brands "on the internet" (seriously, "Amazon"?)... I mean, to say it simply, WHERE'S MY VIDEOGAMES!?!?!
And on a much better note, they announced the cast and the Halloween 2019 release date for... an animated Addams Family film!! YES!! SIGN ME ON!!
Look at this first picture!! It's perfect!! It's quite reminiscent of the fantastic Charles Addams illustrations and comic strips!! I love it!!
Here's the first crossover between the DC-CW characters and the big screen.. or is that Batman's first appearance on the DCW Universe? Well, anyways this is a funny little promo that ran during Supergirl this week, a cross-promotion with the upcoming Lego Batman Movie. Check it out, it's great!
Aw! They should totally have the CW actors voice these characters more often from now on. Sounds like they couldn't get Brandon Routh for this, though. Since The Atom's just.. "there".
Like every year, this past week marked the "Summer of Sonic". And Sega released a bunch of new info for the fans. Mostly regarding the long-rumored next Sonic game.
That's some perfectly timed news for me, since I've been getting back into "the blue blur" and finally playing through Sonic 4. (I plan to finally do Sonic Lost Worlds soon-ysh.)
First up, there's a new teaser regarding Sonic joining the nerd-dream game LEGO Dimensions:
This is actually pretty nice! But like Amiibos and Disney Infinite, I might just be getting the "toy set" and not care about the game-side of the whole thing. Haha :P
Next up, Sega finally revealed one of their upcoming games... Sonic Mania! I dunno why but I immediately think Mickey Mania, with a title like this.
Wow! I wasn't expecting THIS! As someone who actually enjoys Sonic 4 (for all its issues..) this actually looks like the proper Sonic 4 those episodic games should have been like! I love it! Even though it's basically just a huge official Sonic fangame!
And next up, the proper next new Sonic installment following Sonic Generations and Sonic Lost Worlds, a yet unnamed new game:
This certainly seems to confirm the rumors of a Sonic Generation 2! Rumors also say Sonic Boom's Sonic might be a part of this (people love the TV show, but the game was abysmal..). The plot might revolve around time travel, Sonic CD-style, apparently. I don't like the more serious tone though, why does the Sonic Team feel like trying a darker tone every 2-3 Sonic games?! It never works out!!
And that's funny, this is probably the first time I officially saw "NX" mentioned in a game trailer! So I guess that confirms the name of Nintendo's new console, heh?
It looks like Sega totally missed the actual Sonic’s 25th Anniversary, the only game we have this year is another portable Sonic Boom game... but 2017's shaping up like Sonic's big year!
Wait, did we get anything vaguely Half-Life-ysh or from Valve at this E3 this year? Well, not exactly...
The super-duper random epic Lego crossover game LEGO Dimension will be getting a Portal pack! Featuring GlaDos! And even Stephen Merchant reprising his role!
Man, I just can't get used to seeing Legos talking, but that's probably just me.
AND
Pinball FX 2 will also be getting a standalone Portal-themed table!
Portal everywhere! That sort of counts as Half-Life-ysh, right? Man, I wish Valve simply decided to jump on the hype-train bandwagon and randomly announced HL3 even if they're not actually planning to go through with it, just to mess with people. Could you imagine it?
At this point I'd actually take a Portal 3 instead, what with all the promotion the series' been getting lately.
Traveller's Tales's upcoming new new Lego game will be.... Lego Marvel Super Heroes!!!
This actually sounds....pretty awesome!
Now I kinda wish they'd just done Lego DC Universe before and not disguise it as "Lego Batman 2"...

That's right, another Lego Batman game, this time featuring guest JLA-characters to play with!
Looks a bit Arkham City-sh, don't you think?
And voice acting?! Whoah! you got me surprised there! (was there voices in their latest Lego games too, or is that new?)
It's nice to expand these Lego DC games, not just Robin around anymore, but the likes of Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman!
By the way, it's nice to see even as a Lego, Hal Jordan sort of looks/acts like a douche, even the 2-3 seconds he got in that above trailer :P
This game will be out later next month, on almost all current systems~
