#CartoonNEWS Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal Trailer | Coming This Fall | adult swim

Matt Groening is not the only one looking to the past for his new cartoon. Genndy Tartakovsky is looking way further back to prehistoric times for his next show, Primal.

Wiith the success of his Hotel Transylvania films and Samurai Jack finally concluded with a final season on adult swim, Genndy finally has some time to create a new show with a new concept.



This looks like a return to his edgier 2-D animated style that made him so popular in the first place.

Here's the official pitch:

Primal features a caveman at the dawn of evolution. A dinosaur on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.

Sounds about right!

Primal will premiere this fall.

There's a new trailer out for Genndy's upcoming HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3. And you know what? The sequel's looking a lot better this time with this new trailer.

I still adore how 2D-ysh his 3D-animation looks. Very funny, fast-paced and slapstick-y. Plus the whole cast still seems to be having a lot of fun. Check it out:

Here's both the announcement and the first trailer for a new Hotel Transylvania film coming from Genndy Tartakovsky! Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation:



Looks fun. And great already! The film was almost made without Genndy, but Sony finally waited for him to come back from making the final season of Samurai Jack. Good news indeed.

Much better than Universal "monsters universe's" reboot.

The film's expected for July 13 next year!!

A CGi animated Popeye movie! Set to be directed by animation legend Genndy Tartakovsky (Hotel Transylvania) for a release sometime in 2016.
