Finally a new trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers reboot from Legendary which actually looks like Power Rangers and makes the film look fun and not as serious and bland.

It's colorful, it's crazy, it's fun and there are giant robots facing giant monsters!



This new trailer has so much better PR imagery you can now finally see the franchise beneath the modern interpretation. Heck this guy Sebastian Hughes remade the classic opening theme (which Legendary confirmed will be in the film!!) using footage from this new trailer:



Yes, the overall designs still look a bit bland scifi, but otherwise I'm finally interested in this flick!  The film will be out on March 24.

Power Rangers (2017 Movie) Official Teaser Trailer – ‘Discover The Power’

The upcoming Legendary Pacific Rim-style Power Rangers reimagining finally reveals itself in a first teaser trailer! And... it looks good, but strange.



This feels like a weird mix of Chronicle, The Breakfast Club and any comic book "superhero" movie ever! Since they're still teasing the Rangers suit, we don't have a look at the Zords for now, and this means no Pacific Rim comparison for now...

You know what? I wanna see more. This seems good if completely different from the source material.

And we finally have a first proper look at the Power Rangers suits from the upcoming reboot movie from Pacific Rim and Godzilla studio Legendary:

Looks like Tony Stark built those suits!

I'm actually fine with this. There's been a lot of hate and complaints about every single minor aspect of these new suits but honestly I was expecting far worse from this reboot. It simply looks like they're taking out the Japanese "Super Sentai" from this propriety to turn it into an American one. Don't expect summersaults over the camera in this film!

Also the armored (boob plate) look is nothing new to the series, in fact these costumes are kind of reminiscent of the other previous American-made Power Rangers movie, the MMPR: the movie.

Plus the most important new design I actually have a lot more fear about, the sole thing the entire film will repose on, will be the giant robots design and the monsters. Now they better not eff this up...

#Movie NEWS! Saban's Power Rangers logo teaser

...and while we're on teaser poster for long-in-development projects, here's a poster for the upcoming Saban's Power Rangers big budget film, in the wake of modern kaiju films such as Pacific Rim and Godzilla:

There's been a lot pictures from the set circulating news sites, and some people are doubting this whole film. But me personally? (Elizabeth Banks will rock this one out!!) Color me "cautiously optimistic".

Anyways the logo look pretty kickass and exactly what I would expect.

BUT HERE'S SOME GOOD NEWS, Everyone!
Japanese company Nikkatsu Studios are producing a live action version of Gatchaman for summer 2013!
Yeah!
A big budget Japanese live motion picture!
Honestly, it couldn't be better than that!

The movie will be directed by Toya Sato (live-action Grave of the Fireflies, Sexy Voice and Robo, Kaiji, Gokusen) will with a script by Yūsuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz, Bloody Monday) and it will star.Tori Matsuzaka (.hack//The Movie, live-action Kyō, Koi o Hajimemasu, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Kamen Rider Decade) as Ken, the head of the eponymous team.
Gō Ayano (second-in-command Jō), Ayame Gōriki (explosive yoyo-wielding Jun), Tatsuomi Hamada (youngest member Jinpei), and Ryōhei Suzuki (main pilot Ryū) round out the cast.

Can’t wait!

Let's hope this one doesn't get canned....
