This trailer looks promising! DC's been getting a new life, and I'm all for it!
I love the little hints to the plot and comics. That's how you make a mysterious trailer. No real endgame in plain sight, no real villain either.
This better have a much better final act than the first film.......!!

#MovieNEWS Downsizing (2017) - Official Trailer
Here's the first trailer for Downsizing, a fun new scifi flick from Alexander Payne starring Matt Damon.
In a world where people get shrinking to decrease the cost of living, and due to overpopulation problems as well! The process is then irreversible... It almost sounds like a Twilight Zone episode! Almost! tiny in order to save the world (and his own bank account). Check it out:

#MovieNEWS GHOSTBUSTERS TV spots
Because of the whole internet hate, I have to keep writing this disclaimer everytime, but let the hate aside. And here's a few TV spots for the upcoming Ghostbusters:
Ugh. Stay Puft's in this? He looks really bad, like last minute rendered into the film-bad. I'm actually getting used to the no ghost-logo ghost as final villain-thing though. I still plan on watching this, if anything these are a bunch of really funny comedic ladies. But the film itself..?
As a huge long time fan, I still feel kind of "meh" about the whole thing, but I don't dislike it either. It will probably end up as forgettable as the RoboCop reboot anyways.

#Movie NEWS! Ghosbusters - Kevin Administrative Professionals Day Featurette
There's a new Ghosbusters behind-the-scenes video showcasing Chris Hemsworth's character in the reboot/remake:
Actually, I'm starting to think this kind of looks good now. Moreso than my first impression with the trailer, I like how this spotlighted the cast simply interacting with each other. Hemsworth's character duesn't feel like simply a male version of Janine to me, but more like a mix of Janine, Dana Barrett and Louis Tully into one.
In a way, this is as close as we're getting to finally having Thor use his old Donald Blake alter-ego from the comics, in a way!

#Fanmade GHOSTBUSTERS Fancut teaser trailer recut
Alright, I'm starting to honestly get hyped about this film!
This fancut by Bevan Bell fixes a lot of the problems I had with the original official trailer for the new Ghostbusters film. Manly cutting all the plot details, keeping things vague, throwing away the mention of the previous films since it's supposed to be a reboot (none of that "back in the 1980s, 4 scientists saved the world, yadda yadda" thing) while bringing back the original atmosphere of the series. Check this out:

I still say this looks good. Maybe it's because I watched too much of the GB cartoons and read too many of the comics, but I like the idea of new people being Ghostbusters. It plays into something all of us in the fandom dreamed about: anybody can be a Ghostbuster. Be it the original SNL older generation or the new SNL cast. (And it could have been worse, thankfully we didn't get the likes of Will Ferrell, Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler in this reboot..)

#Movie NEWS! Ghostbusters 2016 trailer!
IT'S FINALLY HEEEERE!!! WHY AM I SO HYPED NOW? I HAVE NO IDEAAAAA!!!!
Paul Feig's reboot looks and seems great. You know what, screw the haters I won't even bother reading the comments on youtube (because, why would you??). Plus I do find Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones all really funny. In an SNL-kind of way, like the original cast. I mean I would have hated some cheesy reboot with comedians like, say, Ben Still, Will Ferrell or Jack Black (and I do love JB usually).
The only real thing I'm not really liking is the fact this seems to be GB1 all over again. (But then again, Predators, Star Wars Episode 7 and even Prometheus to some extend all have also been complete redos of the originals too..)

#Movie NEWS! First look at new Ghostbusters costume
Paul Feig, creator of Freaks & Geeks, Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy, is making a new Ghostbusters movie - in case you didn't know.
Let's keep all the internet drama aside, it was announced this reboot would be driven by an all-female cast. Since Feig tends to work with the same actors and actresses he's familiar with, this means a lot of comedy staples and SNL cast such as Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Oh, and Thor himself Chris Hemsworth will apparently play the "Janine" of these new busters!
While I admit I wasn't particularly on board with this film at first like many of you, the first pics from the shoot kind of warmed me up to the idea. You can already imagine who will play which "type" of character (the "Egon", the "Venkman", etc. Although Leslie Jones' absence from the production so far makes me think they're going the "Winston" route with her as well):
I dunno for you, but Kate McKinnon seems to be rockin' Egon's hairdo from the old cartoon here! This is... starting to look good.
ANYWAYS; today we finally got a first look at their upcoming Ghostbusters uniform. And it looks GREAT!
CHECK IT OUT! They even kept the original logo!
Speaking as a long time hardcore Ghostbusters fan, I'm starting to have some faith in this film. Plus I honestly didn't want an actual Ghostbusters III without Harold Ramis, to be frank. Surely this might turn out decent...? Right?
