It took me quite a long while to finally play through this one, and finally review it here.
The Last of Us is a cult game people have already wrote and talked about countless times, but I personally only discovered it through the PS4 re-release since I skipped it last gen. And then I finally got it, and loved playing it.. but with a broken TV these last few months I was stuck with no means to finally finish it...
Anyways - I finally played through this gem, here's the review!
Eyz Reviews several survival horror games, one terrifying entry at a time!
If I could only summarize QUAKE III in one way, I'd say it's an id Software All-Star deathmatch crossover pitching against each
other the characters and the universes of the Doom trilogy, Quake 1 and
Quake 2 - only really missing a representative from Wolfenstein - which is a shame - and at least
a cameo or references to the Commander Keen series... sigh.
Hell awaits your soul, will you dare face more id Software reviews through the following links?
I remember, back when I started making these reviews on deviantArtoriginally some people were asking me to review this one...
After the mascot-splosion of the 90s every company started making all these platformer games and proposing new mascots for every possible company.
Most being modeled after Sonic 1 both in design and form.
While there were many good (and bad) sidescrolling platformers on the 16-bit systems, it was really Rayman who brought them up to speed for the (then-)"next" generation with its higher resolution graphics, impressive animation and CD-quality soundtrack...
While you guys wait for my own review of Duke Nukem Forever, which I haven't finished yet and want to explore in detail in a future review properly, here's another Duke Nukem 3D expansion!
This one is the last of the proper new episodes released for the game as add-ons.
Other add-ons were released (officially or not) but those were just map packs. (like Duke Xtreme to name one)
With Duke Nukem 3D's success, expansions were inevitable. (not too shy of being the first game to have done lots of things as seen in its review, probably making all these some of the earliest form of expansions PC games have known as well)
This add-on is actually the 2nd developed by Sunstorm Interactive.
And it takes Duke (and the player) to a much needed change of settings.
