After the success of Prey, Predator is not getting 1 but 3 upcoming films! Including Predator Badlands, a scifi futuristic-setting Predator film by Prey director Dan Trachtenberg and an untitled Prey sequel from someone else. But we also getting an anthology animated film Killer of Killers! It's a good time to be a Pred fan!
I wasn't expecting this...! Well, I guess we're living the 1990s nostalgia revival right now, so..
Not entirely sure about the animation, but the art looks decent.

Certainly I didn't. But between the Covid shutting down productions not that long ago, the writers and then the actors strike, I guess we're going to see a lot of improvised animated films announced and released in the coming months. Like how the Sonic Movie 3 was able to start shooting during the actors strike because, well, the main characters are CGi cartoon characters.
Well.. they got me in the first half, not gonna lie. Looks pretty fun actually.
I think Chris Pratt's "everyman" voice kinda fits Garfield here a lot more than Mario.
New Pixar trailer dropped. And it's the first time in a while it actually sorta look interesting - to me. Anyways, it's Inside Out 2! The first one was genuinely pretty good and fun.

Nobody expected this one from Warner. I honestly just wanted to see the Coyote VS ACME live action/cartoon hybrid movie saved from cancelation. But here we are. A new DC Animated film. But after Super Pets, why even be surprised?
It's a wholesome tale of Bruce and Damian, and saving Christmas from the Gotham villains.

While escorting Dr. Eggman and his hapless new helper Trip through a perilous ruin, Fang the Hunter will need to muster all his cunning to overcome past mistakes and escape the coils of a fierce new enemy. Meanwhile, Eggman discovers what may be the key to his next dastardly scheme.
I was expecting several episodes, but I guess this is better than nothing. Including the return of Fang! And that new bad guy dude!

Alright. Looks decent enough. I'm feeling it. Modern references. Meta humor. The animation looks slightly cheaper, somehow. The 3D scenes (the shoot out) look a bit worse than in the last revival of the show, closer to the earlier seasons.

This is actually looking pretty dope, if I may say so.
I actually like having proper teenagers cast as the turtles, really makes 'em stand out! The mutants like Bebop and Rock' look awesome too.
The rather... "unique" Scooby-Doo spinoff Velma is almost here. Here's a first proper official trailer to showcase the concept:
Aside from whatever you might think, I kinda like Velma's (and only Velma's) design. Bring in the fanart, peeps!
Honestly the actual only complaint I have about all this is... there's no Scooby-Doo! Why make a Scooby-Doo show without Scooby-Doo? This could have been easily tweaked into any other vintage teen team mystery solvers, like for example "The Archies"!
Alright, color me hyped! I'm loving all I'm hearing from the voice cast. Mario fits. Bowser is badass. Luigi is perfect. I love the Mario Kart references! And the Galaxies! Yoshis! The Kong (I like their Aztec-inspired look in a Mario setting, but wouldn't like it for a DK spinoff/game..)

I'm still not sure how I feel about this.. movie so far.
Illumination definitively stepped up their game for this one, the art style and animation looks miles beyond anything they've done in the past. As for the new interpretation, tone and voices... hmm.. I need to see more to get used to it all.
Some bits are weirdly too serious. It acts as an origin story for the games?? The new original kingdoms feel off to Nintendo's world building. Jack Black is maybe the only thing I'm sold on so far.
I honestly just found out Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was a separate game from MultiVersus. And Nickelodeon Brawl was already out for a few months.
I mean, both games kinda looked the same to me. Big cartoony random crossover, lots of random ips that don't look good next to each other.. I didn't notice the Nickelodeon or Warner Bros-part of their titles...
Anyways, who thinks this looks just as random and bad as Warner's MultiVersus?

Instead of going for a straight reimagining or a modern day remake like the recent DuckTales cartoon, Chip ‘n Dale is getting this weird.... Roger Rabbit-style movie?? (And yes, that is Roger Rabbit in there.. so it's canon with Who Framed Roger Rabbit?????)
On the other hand, this is so far out there, I suppose nobody will have any expectations, high or low, for this one.
Also, sidenote, I don't get all the positive comments in trailers like this. Do people eat these "Hollywood super-franchises show off" films that much???
There's an upcoming cartoon (and game?) reboot of Earthworm Jim coming up. Without series creator Doug TenNapel (because.. I guess modern politics got hime too?), and without game director David Perry's involvement. I dunno how to feel about this. Feels too much like an Hollywood reboot/remake, you know. Without the original creators and a completely different direction.
I mean, I also miss Dan Castellaneta's voice here. And the new setting/setup seems too different. A bunch of worms? Jim is fullon an alien worm, not just an Earth worm given a supersuit? Not one Psy-crow but a full on "Psy-crow-inspired species"? I dunno.. And I imagine they're gonna cut the classic characters that are either Doug TenNapel's or too 1990s (goodbye Princess What's-Her-Name, I'm sure). It kinda feels too distanced, too Sonic Boom-ysh for me.

The new season of CAMP CRETACEOUS is looking pretty neat! And weird! And fun! But strange!
I like the continuation and exploration of the JP lore. The return of my favorite boi, the Spinosaur!
I don't like the overthly scifi look it's taking, is this the direction of the new JW films? Holograms and whatnot. Plus that weird Sabertooth there at the end...
The Animaniacs are back for a season 2!
I hope they bring back more classic characters-segments, but still keep making new ones just as well.
