#CartoonNEWS Animaniacs (Official) Trailer | A Hulu Original

And after the little preview clip/teaser, here's the first proper official trailer for the new Animaniacs 2020 cartoon series coming to Hulu soon...

It's starting to look a bit better. I can get used to that.

Can 2020 be saved??? Wait and see...

#CartoonNEWS Animaniacs Jurassic Park Clip | A Hulu Original

It's here.

They're HERE.

It's official now, I guess. The Animaniacs are back. Spielberg is back and the original voice cast is (mostly) back. While only really the Warner Bros (and sister) and Pinky & the Brain are officially returning.

The modern digital animation style though? Honest? Not a fan. It works even more digital than most modern cartoons like, say, Adventure time, Steven Universe & co. Wait and see, I guess....

Starting with another Spielberg propriety is a nice touch. Even better timed with JP/Jurassic World finally having a realtively well-received animated series released not long ago, at the same time as this announcement.

I like the people working on the show, really. But I'm doubting the producers in charge to let the creatives be, well, creative. Only time will tell...

#TVnews Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous | Official Teaser | Netflix

Before Jurassic Park returns with the third and final Jurassic World movie, the franchise will return this september with a CGi animated series featuring kids tryin' to survive in a dino camp.

I expect this to be half-generic kid cartoon, half-Telltale Jurassic Park-sort of expanded material.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, coming to Netflix September 18th.

#Ad A Holiday Reunion – Xfinity 2019

After 37 years, E.T., Elliott and Steven Spielberg himself reunite for... a sequel... in the form of a commercial..?

Here's a silly lil' E.T. reunion ad. Which basically contains your basic story elements for one of those "decades later sequels", only it's just an ad. With an older Elliott. E.T. still baffled by our human technology...

#Bestof Ready Player One (2018) Mechagodzilla vs Gundam Scene - 4K [Digital HD]

I didn't watch this film. Even watching this fun scene, it specially doesn't look or feel like a Spielberg film. At all. But, hey! Mechagodzilla vs Gundam!!

#HorrorNEWS The House With a Clock in Its Walls trailer

Here's some random news.

Hostel and Cabin Fever director Eli Roth is making a new horror film! But this one might not be as gory as his past work, since it will be produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment company.

It's an adaptation of the popular children's book The House With a Clock in Its Walls by John Bellairs and illustrated by Edward Gorey. And it stars Jack Black, Cate Blanchett and even Twin Peaks Kyle MacLachlan!

Sounds intriguing! Will this be a fun 80/90s horror film for the whole family, kinda like Goosebumps was able to channel some of Joe Dante's classic tone, or will it be a big CGi mess? Check it out:

Wow! Good sets and great props, actually! I'm in.

The film came out of nowhere, but it looks fun! It's expected for September 21.

#MovieNEWS READY PLAYER ONE - Official Trailer 1 [HD]

I dunno why, but I still can't get hyped for READY PLAYER ONE. It certainly looks like the type of movie I should be really hyped for.. but I dunno, it doesn't "click" with me. Maybe it's the over use of CGi or how random it all looks.

I do like seeing the cameos in these teasers and trailers, but I don't think I wanna go to the big screen to see it for 2 hours of runtime, if you get what I mean.

People don’t care about plot, characters or ideas anymore. They just want pop culture references!

#MovieNEWS Ready Player One Comic-Con Trailer (2018) | Movieclips Trailers

Steven Spielberg's new film Ready Player One (based on an early 2000s novel) seems to be the Wreck-it-Ralph of retro and nostalgia culture. Check this out:

Harley Qunn (Oh, right, this is a WB film..) and Deathstroke or Deadpool?  The Iron friggin' Giant!?! Lara Croft!! Freddy Krueger?? Duke Nukem!!! The DeLorean?!

I dunno guys... this feels like something I would have loved, but it feels way too random for my taste. Also isn't the book supposed to have a nostalgic 80s-vibe? This feels way to modern and hi-tech for my taste. Like a cheap Tron Legacy knockoff....

Wait and see!

MR Wakko's Wish

We continue our Xmas-a-thon with something lighter for a change of pace!

It's time to look back at one of my all-time favorite Christmas-themed animated features! And no, I don't think it's something you would expect!

So how exactly does a wish on a wishing star work? You need to physically get to said fallen star to make a wish? And then you get, like, three wishes?

#Randomz - #JurassicWorld ? More like #JurassicPark again

There sure were a lot of throwbacks to the original Jurassic Park in Jurassic World!

Here's a great video showing various direct visual allusions to Steven Spielberg's classic:

Jurassic World vs Jurassic Park Trilogy from whoispablo on Vimeo.

I loved how there were so many nods to the entire series, not just the first JP film. Like the Lost World (the Raptors herd running in the open wild, etc.) and Jurassic Park III (aside from the Spinosaur cameo, there were a few direct shots alluding to scenes like the "Raptors talking scene", the inner Dinos fight, the Pteranodon attacks and their giant dome, etc.). Yes, even though I don't like both the second and third film, I prefer they acknowledged them both as well unlike most people that were calling it a reboot.

VGR Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition

The closest the franchise's ever been to its original horror roots in the novel.

While waiting for an actual sequel for the film, the video game developers started coming up with their own follow-ups.

VGR Jurassic Park (Mega Drive)

Time to return to Jurassic Park for yet another JP game installment!

After the funny colorful 8-bit games and the messy SNES one, here's a much darker take that traumatized a lot of children who probably still fear dinosaurs to this day...

MR Jurassic Park 1

With a new Jurassic Park coming up on the big screen this month, after a long decade of silence, you knew I had to revisit this cult franchise on my blog at some point.

Always a personal cult favorite film of mine. I mean, who doesn't love dinosaurs?

#Movie NEWS! First pics of the new #JurassicPark film!!

Finally some pictures of the upcoming Jurassic World!

Jurassic World is expected for a June 12, 2015 release date. While it's still produced by Steven Spielberg, this episode will instead be directed by Colin Trevorrow. It will star Parks and Recreation's Chris Pratt - who really seems to be everywhere these days - and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Getting super hyped here, personally~

And here are the pics:

Yeah. That's it. These two pics.

Well, it's better than nothing!

And HEY! It confirms the movie is actually really finally happening!
