#DCnews Aquaman actually... kinda looks fun + Also some bpCW Superman

Aquaman's been looking pretty good in the last few official posters:

It's a big departure from how Zack Snyder originally presented Aquaman (or the whole DC "murderverse" to be honest..):

It looks bright, it looks colorful, it looks fun. And I hope the actual movie follows suit (and we don't end up with another Suicide Squad... yikes!). Here's the rest of the cast:

Black Manta is absolutely perfect! And how come I didn't know Willem Dafoe was in this movie?!?

And while we're on the subject of DC Comics, the CW just released this pic to reveal their Lois Lane to appear in a later episode of the show Supergirl:

Very Christopher Reeves/Richard Donner Superman, I love it! They even gave her the same outfit that doesn't seem particularly appropriate to hang out in a cold fortress of solitude.. Also a way to announce how different their take is from  the Man of Steel-universe.

Superman and his related co-stars just turned 75 the other day. You thought I forgot - well, not really!

(well, he had his 80th Anniversary if you count from his actual creation by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1933 like so few people do, or 75 if you start with Action Comics #1 from 1938)

#Movie NEWS! Superman: Brainiac

And it's out!
What - you ask?
The trailer to DC's latest new animation movie!

This one will be an adaptation of Geoff Johns' Brainiac story arc.
Strangely dubbed SUPERMAN UNBOUND for the occasion.

The movie will be released this summer around the theatrical release of the live movie Man of Steel.
This new animated feature will start Matt Bomer as Clark Kent/Superman, Molly Quinn as Supergirl, Stana Katic as Lois Lane and John Noble as Brainiac!

Sounds awesome if you ask me!

You know what? It looks..decent. But the quality of the picture & animation looks like something out of a TV series. A nice looking TV series, sure, but a bit cheaper than what I'd expect in a full feature.

So soon after Superman Vs The Elite (the last animated flick) as I'd imagine.
I'm expecting DC Comics and Warner Bros to tie-in several merch and products around the release of the film AND Superman's 75th anniversary!!!

I also like the way they choose such a different art style to make it stand out apart from The Elite.
