Happy New Year everyone!

Here is to another year! Another "Summary of Art"!

As always, I tried to cover all sorts of projects I did and other memorable stuff of the year.

January - Finally saw the Broly movie. Loved it (and Cheelai). Broly was finally redeemed in my eyes, as a character: fav.me/dcxkc8r

July - I've been a big supporter of the new DuckTales show, and the Magica arc was my favorite! fav.me/ddchsyw

September - Twelve Forever was finally made into an actual show, thanks to Netflix. And now the world was finally blessed with more Butt Witch: fav.me/ddg9yj6
October - CTR Nitro-Fueled has been my favorite surprise of the year. And the DLCs and new Championships have kept going on ever since to this day. I was so happy when Nina was added in the Halloween grand tour!! fav.me/ddhpexe

December - The Steven Universe Movie was fantastic, and Spinel is my favorite new addition to SU. And the entire fandom took her in pretty quickly. Here she is represented in this year's Xmas pinups: fav.me/ddmdllv

#GamingNEWS Marvel's Avengers — Kamala Khan NYCC Announcement Trailer

This is honestly the first time this weird photorealistic Marvel's Avengers game by Square Enix has actually looked kinda interesting. It looked like a really off-putting fake MCU thing. But now it's actually starting to look like its own thing.

More importantly, Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan is in the game! And she seems pretty important for the plot actually - COLOR ME INTERESTED (finally)!!

Here's a bunch of fighting game news, straight from #EVO 2019!

First up Ed Boon & Netherrealm Studios finally showed ONE of the upcoming new DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack , fan-favorite Nightwolf! (Sorry Sindel, and even worse, Mileena fans, nothing for you guys..)



During EVO 2019's big Dragon Ball FighterZ finals, Arc System Works officially announced Janemba and Gogeta with the following trailer. And Janemba's getting released this week no less!



And while I might not be a big fan of it, let's not skip French Bread's update for their 2D fighter Under Night In-Birth: EXE Late[cl-r]. Yeah. Such a weird silly name. But things look pretty decent though:



Slightly ahead of schedule for EVO, thanks to a Valve/Steam leak, the announcement of more Street Fighter V DLC characters! All available right ahead! Fans wanted E.Honda for so long.. and we even got two more Final Fight guest, thanks Ono!



One of the big announcements of EVO was Harada announcing a major update for TEKKEN 7 as well as a new Season 3 that will include a bunch of changes, stages and characters. Starting with a fan much requested return and a newcomer for T7:



BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is getting EVEN MORE characters! It's not the best game ever.. but I love it!



SNK probably confirmed development on the new King of Fighters XV with the following logo:

As well as the full roster of DLC (which includes a free character) for the Samurai Shodown reboot - along the confirmation of a Season 2 coming in 2020 with more DLC characters! PLEASE ADD IROHA, SNK!!



And while we're on the subject, NAMCO revealed the last character coming to Soul Calibur VI....



...As well as a confirmation of a Season 2 which will no less than a guest character from SNK... HAOMARU himself from Samurai Shodown!!! I love seeing all these SNK characters pop up in all sorts of fighters, lately!



But the best announcement came form ArcSys who just announcement a brand new Guilty Gear for 2020! Look how beautiful it looks! Even better than Xrd! It looks like working on Dragon Ball and Kill la Kill sure helped them master this new graphics style & engine!

Harley Quinn's getting her own animated series! And it's "not for kids"! It's edgy! Look at how cool she is! You dig that, kids!? (Well, I can totally see kids loving it, just look at her fortnite dance-moves...) Sigh. These sort of modern cartoons make me feel old, somehow...

And here is the long-awaited trailer for the Netflix adaptation of The Witcher starring the one and only Henry Cavill:



It's both too clean and too cheesy, like some afternoon B-series... And I half-expected Henry Cavill with a mustache. Disappointed on that front.

#SDCC2019 news Halloween Announcement

While everyone was expecting a sequel after the success of the soft-reboot we recently got, Blumhouse didn't announce ONE but TWO new Halloween films for, well, the next two halloweens!

Halloween Kills is set to be released on October 16th, 2020, while Halloween Ends is slated for October 15, 2021.

Here's the short teaser trailer we got:



Which will all make a little trilogy of this new reboot Halloween films. Jamie Lee Curtis has already been confirmed to return in these new films as Laurie Strode.

A pretty appropriate new View Askew entry in today's film landscape. Feature lots of regular View Askew cameos (Affleck was the bombs in Phantom, yo!) and even some new ones like Supergirl's Melissa Benoist!

Alright! This is the most random awesome new to come out of SDCC this year!

OK KO has been an absolute blast! And after epic crossover episodes with Captain Planet, Steven Universe, etc. we're now getting.... A SONIC THE HEDGEHOG CROSSOVER!?!

Huh... WHAT??? And I smell some possible AOSTH Sonic references?!!!

#E3news The big E3 2019 Recap post

Hey everyone.

This week marked the big E3 2019 even, in LA. You know what? I've been mostly offline this past week. So I finally decided to catch it all in one sitting. And boy, there's been quite a few great new announcements, tidbits, trailers and some occasional goofy and cringe moments in what was yet another packed E3 experience.

Since this is my page, let's only recap the things I'm interested in or I've something to say about.

#StarWarsCelebration 2019 News! A new game, and the return of an older show

At this year's Star Wars Celebration they showed some more of the upcoming Episode 9 film. As well as a first look at the upcoming live action show The Mandalorian.

But for us, internet people, they announced the return of a fan-beloved series as well as a brand new Sw games.

The show is the return of Dave Filoni's Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the actual proper final season, which had been canceled and replaced by Star Wars Rebels when Disney bought the franchise:



Looking great so far! I guess they'll finally tie this older show to the newer Rebels. Specially on Ahsoka's side.

Meanwhile the upcoming game's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Let's say it right away, it's pretty much this generation's new Force Unleashed. Playing with a Jedi, unlocking force-powers, very cinematic, etc.

Only this one will (also star an actual actor as the main character) feature Ghotam actor Cameron Monaghan as Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66. But llet's just say, he's no Sam Witwer....



The real big news is EA announcing this as a solo-focused game with no micro-transactions, to be honest.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will hit stores November 15 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
