#DCnews KRYPTON | Season 2 Official Trailer | SYFY

I haven't kept up with SyFy's weird KRYPTON show. But from the look of things they've pulled some impressive stuff including a really good live action Brainiac. And looks like season 2 will have Doomsday AND more importantly The Main Man himself, LOBO!!!!

I'm not sure about the voice, though......

#DC News! Upcoming animated features

Note to self: Here's the upcoming new Animated Movie releases from DC/Warner Bros.

First on May 7 we have Superman Unbound!

Which is... a bit strange. I mean why adapt Superman: Brainiac? It was a fun story but also a set up for the New Krypton storyline... Wouldn't a New Krypton standalone feature be, well, better?

Then July 30 we will have Justice League The Flashpoint Paradox!

Now I know what some might say: Flashpoint was a set up for the New 52. But it also provides a very simple concept. Flash ends up in a "wacky" alternate universe.

An alternate world *SPOILERALERT*Bruce Wayne's dad is Batman, Wonder Woman is fighting against Aquaman over Europe and Superman is nowhere to be found*SPOILEROUT* and now he has to put things back to normal.

The casting counts Nathan Fillion returning as Hal Jordan (even if he'll barely be in this one because *cough*he never became a Green Lantern and Abin Sur's still alive*cough*). Which is awesome.

Also this marks the Flash's first animated feature (in a way). Hope this means Warner will try focusing on others than Bats and Supes in the future.

#Movie NEWS! Superman: Brainiac

And it's out!
What - you ask?
The trailer to DC's latest new animation movie!

This one will be an adaptation of Geoff Johns' Brainiac story arc.
Strangely dubbed SUPERMAN UNBOUND for the occasion.

The movie will be released this summer around the theatrical release of the live movie Man of Steel.
This new animated feature will start Matt Bomer as Clark Kent/Superman, Molly Quinn as Supergirl, Stana Katic as Lois Lane and John Noble as Brainiac!
John Noble!!!!
Sounds awesome if you ask me!

Here's the official trailer:

You know what? It looks..decent. But the quality of the picture & animation looks like something out of a TV series. A nice looking TV series, sure, but a bit cheaper than what I'd expect in a full feature.

So soon after Superman Vs The Elite (the last animated flick) as I'd imagine.
I'm expecting DC Comics and Warner Bros to tie-in several merch and products around the release of the film AND Superman's 75th anniversary!!!

I also like the way they choose such a different art style to make it stand out apart from The Elite.
Here's the big chinned cartoony Superman from The Elite:

And the new:

(I kinda miss the bulky one though~)

CBR Superman/Batman: Metal Men

Here's yet another comic featuring the Metal Men, in their updated incarnation!

This series makes actually their first modern appearance in the modern DCU, specially it is the first time they were actually show again since Will Magnus' role in DC's big crossover epic 52.

In this little 3-issues story arc from the on-going Superman/Batman team-up series, we got to see how the Metal Men currently looked like. And it was here that the newest Metal (wo)men, Copper, appeared first.
Though the plot clearly takes place some time after The Metal Men mini story-wise.
(Some details are left sketch, which Grant Morrison wanted to explore post-52 had he wrote the Metal Men mini himself)
