Twist: My blog was dead all along I actually still kinda like M. Night Shyamalan. I mean, I don't hate the guy.

Sure he's made a foul of himself over the years and his movies have been increasingly worse one after the other. My guess is that his early fame and success from The Sixth Sense probably got to his head. And then he sort of lost the passion he had and became way too formulaic for his own good.

Plus his writing's been getting pretty bad, film directing skills aside.

But I still a lot of masterfully storytelling and great eye for the picture when I look back at Sixth Sense or Unbreakable. Heck, even Signs.

So what went wrong?

I think he put way too much focus on the mystery and the often-laughed twist ending, and sort of forgot to care about his characters later on. Plus the plot have been more and more nonsensical. I mean, the trees, really?

But I do believe you could still salvage things up if you would mix up the twists amongst the films.

#Blog - What did you do this weekend?!

Hey folks!

What did you guys 'n' gals do this weekend?

This weekend I finally saw Looper.

It was... okay but with so many little problems to nitpick about.

Most people like to complain about the time travel issues, but I just didn't like the concept it's built upon much since it falls so easily apart. People travel through time in this movie to send people to kill in the past since it's so impossible to do so in the future...yet they obviously shoot someone point blank in the film IN THE FUTURE in a scene.. What the..? How can you accept any of the more far fetched elements if the concepts it's built upon don't even stand up?!

Anyway, fun little flick apart from that...

'Need to rewatch 12 Monkeys though....

Easily one of my all-time favorite films of all time (as seen here!), it's time to finally revisit this movie on this very specially day.

#Movie NEWS! it's A Good Day To Die Hard!

John "Yippee ki-yay m*** f***" McLane is back!
About damn' time we heard more about this new film.

The movie is called A Good Day To Die Hard - aka Die Hard 5 for short.
It's expected for February 14 (ha!).
This episode was directed by John Moore, who unlike Live Free or Die Hard's Underworld director Len Wiseman can make decent action movies. Wait. No... It's the director behind the awful Max Payne movie and the half-bad/half-decent Behind Enemy Lines!!
Oh oh...
Couldn't they give this franchise back to an actual long time action movie director expert? You know, not necessary John McTiernan, but close?

Anyways~
The pitch:
This time around John McLane ends up in Russia to help out his son.
Oh and he ends up saving the day from terrorists.
Again!
(I already expect "Come out to Russia, we'll get together, have a few laughs...")
