#Blog Wonder Boy/Monster World Complete Collection!

Here's something new, the "Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection" which basically contains every single entry in the WB/Monster World series, not counting for modern entries or remakes. Only really missing the Adventure Island Wonder Boy 1-inspired subseries, but the owners of that series are Hudson Soft, so I'm guessing the rights lie at Konami nowadays.

Anyways, made a little tribute video to show the goodies as well as my own collection of Wonder Boy / Monster World games:

#gamingNEWS Sonic Origins - Official Trailer

And finally a confirmation for the new Sonic compilation, a trailer and some sweet new animation to go along! How nice!

And it all comes out on Sonic's anniversary in june!

People are raving, I like to see these modern update get the physical treatment AND on console. Being able to play as the other characters, widescreen format and new challenges and bonus gimmicks. But I would love to see some more games get included in a compilation for once. Chaotix, come on! It's part of the original run if you include Sonic CD! Or even add some odd trivia like SegaSonic the arcade title and such..

Anyways, the new music and animation looks lovely and I'm all for it. Will these be included as cutscenes IN the games??

#GamingNEWS KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series - Nintendo Switch

The two first Klonoa games are getting a re-release on the Switch!

I can already imagine the game won't have a physical... outside Japan. So get to Playasia and pre-order it once you can!

#GamingNEWS New Sonic Team Game - Official Teaser Trailer | Sonic Central 2021

Sega finally made things official with Sonic's future. They made a little event called "Sonic Central" (yes, like that Sonic Central..) and showed a bunch stuff to celebrate Sonic's 30th Anniversary.

A new compilation, a remaster of a (random) not quite so old-older game, crossover stuff and a tease for the upcoming new non-Anniversary game, since it will now come out next year, 2022.

They officialized the remaster of Sonic Colors! A new port of Colors from 2010, coming on sep 7 on PS4, Switch, etc. Calling it Ultimate certainly means more content, right? I'd love a re-take on the story and new voice overs to make it closer in tone to past Sonic games instead of the last few-childish tone of the series...

There's gonna be new Sonic Colors-inspired short cartoons, like most recent games have received. Which makes Sonic Colors more relevant than ever, giving weird theories that Sega want to pursue Sonic Colors' "story"...

A new collection, Sonic Origins, which will bring the smartphone ports of Sonic 1, 2, CD along Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Can they add some actual surprises? Each new compilation has had less and less games since Sonic Mega Collection/Gems Collection.. How about Chaotix? SegaSonic?

Lots of crossover Sonic-themed content to a bunch of games including Two Point Hospital and Lost Judgement (the new Yakuza-style game from Sega).

The Mario-less Sega’s Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Roger Craig Smith returning to continue voicing Sonic again.

And finally..

A little tease for Sonic's upcoming big new (3D?) game. People have been loving the tease. Thinking Sonic Adventure 1 remake etc. But me, personally, this gives me weird vibes of a Sonic Colors sequel (wisps and boost energy-inspired effects) MIXED with the old Sonic 2006 "realistic forest run" vibes...

Wait and see...

#BestOf #E32019 COMPILATION

It's that time of the year again. We got some gold ones last year, this year wasn't that great.. Neither show-wise nor comedic-wise.

Really, the best things about this year was Keanu Reeves' appearance as well as Bethesda' Ikumi Nakamura genuine wholesome presentation:

And here's some compilation for this year's best-of:

This year had some weird moments!

#Ad Complete 66 Mac vs PC ads + Mac & PC WWDC Intro + Siri Intro

Remember those ol' Mac vs. PC ads?

Yeah. Those Mac ads definitively kept me off Apple products, back in the day. I mean, why would you wanna be like the douchey Mac hipster?

No, seriously, these ads were pretty silly and funny. Here's a fun compilation of them all:

#MusicBOX Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' Sung by 169 Movies!

This is actually pretty epic and well done!!

#BestOf Robot Chicken - The Best of Pac-Man | Adult Swim

I love how the official Robot Chicken youtube channel's been making these compilations of a few of their sketches. Makes it fun to revist some classic of theirs.

Here is "The Best of Pac-Man"!

#Randomz Jeff Goldblum Making Noises

The folk at Owenergy Studios have put up a fantastic video compilation of Jeff Goldblum making his famous Jeff Goldblum noises! Check this out, it's uh-absolutely, huh, fantastic!

#GamingNEWS Spyro Reignited Trilogy | Announcement Trailer | PS4

He's not as purple as he used to, but this remake/remaster/whateva trilogy still looks pretty nice!

Despite never being as big a fan of Spyro as I was of Crash Bandicoot, I do still have fond memories of the first game specifically. I'll definitively check this one out ;)

#MusicBOX All Dragon Ball opening themes!

I always loved the music featured in the various Dragon Ball animes over the years. Particularly the opening theme songs (even though I do find the Kai openings to sound way too One Piece and not enough Dragon Ball-ysh).

So enjoy this little compilation featuring all openings over the decades!

#ComedyNEWS Squeeze Box: The Complete Works of "Weird Al" Yankovic + Medium Rarities

How did I miss this?? A new Weird Al album got a stealth release as part of a new compilation??

Weird Al Yankovic got this great "Complete Works" compilation collection called the Squeeze Box. And as a bonus it got a new album, mostly a B-track collection. Check this out:

#Randomz Evolution of Juggernaut in movies and cartoons

Here's a fun montage made by RACCOON on youtube, showing the various interpretations of Juggernaut through cartoons and movies over the years. Great stuff:

#Randomz NOT NOW, PHELPS! (LA NOIRE VR)

Nothing has ever really interested me with VR. Like 3D for movies, it all seems like a big gimmick-y fad to me. Until I saw this hilarious video and now I really wanna get LA Noire: The VR Case Files:

This is the best commercial VR ever needed. Now even I want a VR set!!

#FightingNEWS Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition + 30th Anniv. Collection

Street Fighter V's getting a new season's worth of DLC characters, various tweaks to the main base game as well as an update, Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, for those who waited this long to get into the game.

I like SFV, I really do. But I didn't get into it as much as I did SFAlpha or SFIII, personally. I even spent way more time in SFIV than SFV! I do like the game's visuals, aesthatics and gameplay. But I feel like there's a lot of my favorites that have been missing as well as the new system's not that unique or original.

Anyway, we're finally getting SF classics such as Sagat and Sakura! Great news, everyone!

Here's the announcement trailer:

WOW!! Sakura looks fantastic! I'm also glad Cody's finally out of his silly prisoner outfit, it didn't make sense to keep him that way forever.. (Damn' you, Ono, and your love for the Final Fight series!!!)

And since this year will also mark the franchise's 30th Anniversary, Capcom announced a Street Fighter 30th Anniv. Collection as well. Kind of like those Mega Man Collections recently, only with the most notable entries in the franchises: SF1 (finally, a personal fav getting some recognition!), SF2, Turbo, Alpha3 and Third Strike among many others! But those (aside from SF1) will even have online!! Personally I would have put SFEx3 and SFIV: Arcade Edition in there to have an actual complete edition. But that's just me.. Here's the trailer:

It will also include a ton of fun bonuses, like concept art and whatnot.

Can't wait to see SF get a proper revival next year!

#Compilation Psych Season 1-8 - Gus don't be...

Here's another great PSYCH-OUT blast from the past, in anticipation for the movie (which will be released early December). A video featuring most if not all of the "Gus, don't be a" given by Shawn over the years, video courtesy from sarahkhidhir:

#Compilation Psych The Many Names of Burton Guster supercut

While we cannot wait for the upcoming Psych TV movie, enjoy this great compilation of the many aliases of Gus - courtesy from theotherhiphop! I feel so nostalgic right now...

#Randomz Tomb Raider (2018) - Game vs. Movie Trailer Comparison

That's why the Tomb Raider reboot movie feels so authentic, it's basically lifting scenes straight from the game reboot!

Here's a fun video comparison:

Alright. Now that's as close to a game as you'll get. Will it break the video game adaptation curse??

#Compilation Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Singing compilation

There's an awful lot of singing on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. What? You never noticed? Here's a little compilation made by peraltiagonetwork:

#Randomz R2D2 Subtitles

Another great hilarious vid from the folks at Eclectic Method:
