After two awful questionable live action-animated hybrid films, The Smurfs go back to animation... although they remain CGi Smurfs! But maybe this will work better... right?
Gorgeous animation! Pretty weird music for The Smurfs... Actually this looks pretty fine so far. Also, Jack McBrayer and Danny Pudi?? Sign me in!

#Animation NEWS - Hotel Transylvania 2 Trailer
Sony Animation released a bunch of news recently.
Here's the trailer for Genndy Tartakovsky's upcoming Hotel Transylvania 2:
Looking great! The most tolerable Adam Sandler's been in ages!
And while we're at it, here's a brief looking behind the scenes at the upcoming entirely animated Smurf movie, Get Smurfy:
Rainn Wilson's already in character, it seems!

#Movie NEWS! Smurfs reboot
Did you watch the "new" Smurf live action/CGi films? Did you enjoy those? Honestly?
Personally, I grew up with the original comics and always loved them, but I didn't even bother to watch those films.
Anyways, Hollywood's already rebooting those films! Check it out:
This time it will be entirely CG-animated.
And Gargamel will apparently be played by Rainn Wilson!

Movie NEWS! They smurf'd it!! Too late, we're smurfed!! Good smurf!
Update: Now with a logo:
Wanna see the live Smurf movie in action?
Here's the first teaser trailer, but be careful it's as smurfic as you think it is:
Agh... I know I shouldn't "judge a book by it's cover", but this cover looks pretty badly damaged, like it fell of a cliff into a garbage can which then took fire which was put down by an army of skunks with their own piss on...
In 3D!
Gosh, I totally (not) want to drive 1 or 2 hours to find a 3D theatre and watch this piece of smurf!
This smuf-fest is expect for August 3, 2011.
