#TVNEWS Truth Seekers – Official Teaser

Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are back! And the duo's always fun, even outside of Edgar Wright's films.

This time it's for an 8-episode show on Amazon Prime, Truth Seekers. Check out the new teaser, courtesy from the post-Covid virtual SDCC 2020:

#Movie NEWS! Star Trek Beyond teaser

While people only seem to have Star Wars in mind, there's also a new Star Trek coming up soon, next year.

Here's the first teaser to the first J.J.Abrams-less Star Trek, written by no less than Simon Pegg! It's called Star Trek Beyond:

If anything, this looks like a return to adventure! Let's hope unlike Abrams' films it relies a bit less on nostalgia (old Spock used for no reason aside from fan service, old plot and old enemies recycled, etc.) and more on new ideas to actually offer us something new!

Star Trek Beyond will be released on July 22nd, 2016.

MR Hot Fuzz

Possibly the greatest action film ever made.

When the heat is on, you gotta call the fuzz!

Shaun of the Dead

MR Land of the Dead

After the Night, the Dawn and the Day.. the Dead have now taken over our Land!

... That's all I could come up with, sorry. The title doesn't have as good a ring to it as past films, granted. But it was definitively another decent entry in the series.

When there's no more room in HELL, these reviews will walk the BLOG:

Night of the Living Dead - Dawn of the Dead - Day of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead
iZombie Vol. 1 / Last Resort
Hack/Slash Meets Zombies Vs Cheerleaders
Blue Stinger

MR Shaun of the Dead

We take Pete's car, go round Mum's, go in, deal with Philip - "Sorry, Philip!" - grab Mum, go to Liz's, pick her up, bring her back here, have a cup of tea and wait for this whole thing to blow over.

Perfect!

#Best of Phineas and Ferb - Shaun of the Dead in Phineas and Ferb

For those not following, the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb's been pretty good at making references and featuring guest stars. There was a fairly decent Star Wars episode long ago (to make Disney's debut reign with the franchise, no doubt).

Here's Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reprising their roles from Shaun of the Dead in the new Phineas and Ferb upcoming zombie-centric Halloween special episode:

#BestOf Spaced - the Shoot-Out

Probably my all-time favorite scene from Spaced, the one I remember the most after all this time:

Classic moment!

RR Spaced

A timeless UK classic!

A British sitcom about a bunch of 20-something geeks...

#Movie NEWS! The World's End

So finally the last entry from Edgar Wright's Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy is about to be finally released in the UK and then everywhere.

The World's End!

This one will be a scifi/comedy tribute to old school pulp films. With once again Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as the heroes.

Here's the trailer:

AWESOME!!! Can't wait!

Coming in August for us in the rest of the world.

#Movie NEWS! Star Trek Into Darkness - Official Teaser

Did you guys check out Star Trek Into Darkness' all new trailer? It looks pretty neat!

I just remembered why I liked the new Star Trek so much.
What an awesome cast!
Chris Pine & Zachary Quinto were pretty fun as the lead roles.
And Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy? Classic!
Let's not also forget Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana and even the awesome John Cho!!

#FanFilm Friday - Lost with Tusken Raiders

Here's something completely different for today!
A lil' short film called:
Lost with Tusken Raiders starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost!!

After getting lost while filming Paul, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost must rely on their wits to survive. Their dry, British wits.

It was directed by Andy Signore from Break Originals and written by Ian Weinreich & Andy Signore.

Check it out!

Those two!
They make anything watchable and fun~

FanFilmFriday: The Death and Return of Superman

Here's a "fanfilm" for the day!

Remember when Man of Steel died and returned in the '90s?
Well Max Landis here certainly does. (though he's waaaay too young to have actually followed the whole thing originally now that I think about it..)
Who's Max Landis? He's the son of the legendary comedy and horror movie master John Landis.

Back then, the epic Death and Return of Superman story was such a success it launched a boom in comics that marked the generations to come, changed the whole comic book industry regarding mega-events and tie-ins, was adapted into a videogame..
Warner even tried to make a movie out of all this..but only that lame lackbuster Steel was made - with no connections to Supes whatsoever due to all the delays and cancellation of the other related movies. (a Superboy, Cyborg and Eradicator movies were also planned to accompany a Death and Return of Superman)

Anyway, Max did this whole summary and critique of the whole Death and Return saga, featuring various talents such as Mandy Moore as Lois Lane, Elijah Wood as Hank Henshaw, Simon Pegg as John Landis, etc...

Enjoy this ~17 minutes video!

Epic!
Funny enough, accurate and entertaining!

Max Landis adds:

The original rant was 45 minutes long, so of course we had to cut a bunch of stuff out for time, and because it was just too stupid. Like for instance the part where Pa Kent dies of a heart attack and literally GOES TO HEAVEN. AND SEES SUPERMAN.

If I saw this video, I might nerd rage out so hard. But luckily I made it, so I'm pretty happy. Really I'd hope people just are with me, and happy that Guy Gardner and Bloodwynd get to be in a movie.

Guy Gardner, haha!
Gotta love seeing all these characters portrayed, even if briefly!

Kids these days, always complaining about everything..
Even more so on the interwebz :P

Anyways, besides that, the video was actually sort of fun!
I actually like Death and Return of.. but managed to enjoy this lil' video nonetheless.

Movie NEWS! Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and an alien

Here's the trailer to a new film featuring the awesome duo of Simon Pegg & Nick Frost! (Spaced, Hot Fuzz, Shawn of the Dead)

Huh...epic?!
