Alright, this next one is a pretty weird bit of news.

While an actual Five Nights at Freddy’s movie adaptation seems to be stuck and going nowhere, this might seem like the best next thing...somehow?

Here is the first trailer for The Banana Splits Movie, which takes a classic Hanna-Barbera kids variety show and turns it into an horror film. For real.

Originally a 1968 variety show, The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. Here's a video from it:



And here's the Freddy clone they turned it into, basically said an horror film about killer robots going haywire during a kid’s birthday party:
