#MovieNEWS UNCHARTED - Official Trailer (HD)

 What the heck???

What the heck???

I like to recognize some action pieces from the games mushed into this film together. I still think Mark Wahlberg could have played a proper Nathan Drake.. (or just get Nathan Fillion..)

I'm not sold on this super-young adventure-thingie. And give Mark a moustache if he gets to play Sully!!

Remember proper actual serials? Which inspired Indiana Jones? Which then inspired Tomb Raider, and later on Uncharted? You used to drop on the lives of these 40+ years old adventurers, who felt like they had this whole life of experiences and adventure, in the middle of the lastest one. I just feel like this obsession Hollywood has for origin stories work the adventure film genre.. I don't wanna discover how X hero became one. I want to see Y already an hero be tested and use his experience and smarts.. Sigh..

#FanFilmFriday UNCHARTED - Live Action Fan Film (2018) Nathan Fillion

So while the actual official Uncharted movie has been stuck in development hell for a decade last I remember they cast Tom Holland as flashback/young Nathan Drake.. but that's all!), Nathan Fillion went ahead and made this awesome Uncharted fanflm! It's pretty short but easily better than anything Hollywood will end up making - by the looks of the likes of Assassin's Creed or Tomb Raider...

I'm sold! Between the game tone perfectly captured, the dialogue, the humor and even some of the camera work straight of the games... give me more!! We demand MOAR!!

#E3 Day 2 - Sony's conference

For most people, it's been a pretty boring if lukewarm-at best E3 show. But me? I'm happy. I got my new Wolfenstein, The Evil Within 2 and Beyond Good & Evil 2! What's more to ask...

Now, Sony's conference on the other hand.. total retreat to 2016's E3. Nothing new, really.

#GamingNEWS A couple of Naughty Dog news

At the PSX 2016, Sony showed some surprises regarding upcoming Naughty Dog titles.

First, here's a reveal trailer for the long-rumored, long-awaited Last of Us sequel, The Last of Us Part 2 (I loved that first game, but really? We're going with "Part 2"?? Ok...):

Sounds intriguing! No actual gameplay footage, though. They really cleaned up this CGi reveal trailer. Joel is back (for now..). Ellie's gonna be the main character, I'm sure. Prepare to shed a tear on a story that didn't actually really need a sequel...

More surprising, they also announced a new Uncharted sequel! Whaaaaat?

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. A... spinoff title? A side-quel? Whith Chloe from Uncharted 2? Why not Drake's brother from the last game? Or a proper follow-up with Drake's daughter or Drake himself?... I don't... Let's just watch:

O...kay. I don't exactly understand this game so far. Aside from the brief combat at the end that looked like Uncharted, this could as easily been a random new standalone idea. This seems to be made by Naughty Dog's "b team" compared to the other one above. The full game better revolve around some Indiana Jones-esque treasure hunt. And also, a whole game to 2 minor supporting Uncharted characters? Hmmm...

Anyways, 'got pumped for some upcoming new PS4 games. Me likey.

#E3 NEWS! Misc. news: Robots, assassins, soldiers, mercenaries and zombies

A few interesting original new ideas caught me eye.

Microsoft surprised me, SquareEnix surprised everyone and Ubisoft did more of the same. Where's my Beyond Good and Evil 2!?!
