#GAMINGnews [18+] Hotel Barcelona Launch trailer at TGS2023 [DIRECTOR'S CUT]

My most hyped game of the year/2024 is finally here!!! FINALLY!!!

SWERY65 and SUDA51 are back and together for the first time with...

""Hotel Barcelona," where serial killers from all over the United States are said to have gathered. You must defeat them and check out before all the blood is spilled. Japanese game creators SWERY65 and SUDA51 have teamed up to create this ambitious work. Availlable on STEAM/Xbox/PS5 in 2024!

Can't wait! And here's the trailer:

Nice. I do see both the Swery and the Suda aesthatic mixed in there! I wasn't expecting a 2.5D hack and slash though. But the killer and weirdness is all here.

#Blog #NoMoreHeroes Collection from Pix'n Love+Limited Run

So I finally just received my copy #NoMoreHeroes3 from Pix'n Love.

It's a lovely collection that goes almost-well with Limited Run's re-releases of NMH 1 and 2.

Here's the content of the collector's edition.

Art artbook, some pics.. and that's basically all. No pin? No sticker? Not even the fantastic soundtrack??

And here's my entire No More Heroes collection.
Now I kinda wish they could do the other Grasshopper Manufacture's title the same justice. They already did the Silver Case. Weren't there rumors about a Killer 7 port on the Switch as well as Flower, Sun and Rain's..?

#GamingNEWS No More Heroes III - New Game+ Expo 2020 Gameplay (Mostly Covered by Suda 51's Face)

Here's New Game+ Expo 2020's Showcase. It shows a lot of news, from Sega, Atlus, Marvelous, etc.

What caught my (and everyone's) eye is that Suda51 finally revealed some No More Heroes 3 gameplay! In classic Suda fashion, trolling everyone.

Actually he just talked stuff... while playing some NMH3 gameplay in the background, no mention of it, his face hiding most of the visuals!!

I love it! Hahaha. Good ol' Goichi Suda! He might be the head of Grasshopper Manufacture, he's still making weird pranks with his silly sense of humor. Anyways, enjoy whatever you can see there!

#GamingNEWS Surprise! Suda51 X Swery69 Project: Hotel Barcelona! FK STRIKES AGAIN!

This end of October have come out with some of the best news of the year - to me personally.

A random Suda (Silver Case, Killer 7, No More Heroes, etc.) and Swery (Deadly Premoniation, Spy Fiction, D4,etc.) collaboration was braindstormed during a Q&A Panel. Then picked up some heat on twitter. Found a music composer, game publisher, etc. And even a surprise guest producer on the table.

They seem to know each other and be pretty close, reblogging each other's content on twitter and such. In fact I'd say their games have similar flavor, even if pretty different usually. A similar love to grindhouse/popculture/meta takes on typical action and adventure games.

Long story short, Suda and Swery have been working on a collaboration for a little while. They revealed it to the world recently.

For now they've been calling this project "Hotel Barcelona". And it's going to be a survival horror title, because both haven't made a proper one so far but love the horror genre and have diped in it with some odd titles before (Michigan: Report from Hell, Shadows of the Damned, Extermination..)

During the infamous live Q&A panel, they texted other people and got Jukio Kallio for the music of Hotel Barcelona, as well as noneother than Silent Hill/Siren creator Keiichiro Toyama to join them on their indie horror collaborative project!

This is getting pretty epic!

They then got Devolver Digital interested in publishing the game, they're just jokingly waiting to see Swery pitch them the actual game we don't know a thing about so far.

And that's where we are so far.
A collab with the creator of Silent Hill, a composer and publisher to go along.
This horror game has been developed for a while behind the scenes as an indie project. They got a budget set. The project's title might end up the name of the actual game.

And I can't wait to see my two favorite game devs make a game together! It's gonna be weird for sure. Fun. And play with the concept of what an horror game is no doubt. (And have some pop culture references and Twin Peaks inspiration, for sure.)

I can't wait to hear more from this epic project!!

#E3news The big E3 2019 Recap post

Hey everyone.

This week marked the big E3 2019 even, in LA. You know what? I've been mostly offline this past week. So I finally decided to catch it all in one sitting. And boy, there's been quite a few great new announcements, tidbits, trailers and some occasional goofy and cringe moments in what was yet another packed E3 experience.

Since this is my page, let's only recap the things I'm interested in or I've something to say about.

#GamingNEWS Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes - Gameplay Reveal Trailer (Nintendo Direct)

Suda51 is finally back!!!

And Travis Touchdown along with him!!!!!

Travis is back in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes! A new and long awaited 3rd episode in the meta/parody game series No More Heroes! I see a lot of hate online and on the youtube comments (but then again.. it's youtube comments, what would you expect?). But this seems to be more of the same crazy Suda. People fear a minigame compilation and complain about the lack of 3rd person adventure.. but did they play NMH2? That wasn't the focus of the game. Nor of most Suda's games. It's about fun and playing with gaming as a whole. I expect this to follow in the footsteps of his last few games like Kill is Dead.

Looks beautiful, great, colorful and fun!

I can't wait!!

(Dang.. I got to get a Switch now??)

A fun odd little horror game that was pretty different from the many other countless survival horror games there was on the PlayStation 2.

VGR Killer Is Dead

Suda's "Kill the past trilogy" might be over, but those theme remain very present in his current work to this day.

Even more so in this game, a sort of culmination of Grasshopper's past decade of games.

Another day of E3 has passed. Now I know everybody's been loving all the new stuff Nintendo showed. But you know me... (and if you don't... well, now's as a good time as any to get the picture) Not much surprised or interested me. For me it was much of the same. SURE! I know it's going to sell a lot/get a ton of great sales & reviews...

#Gaming NEWS! KILLER IS DEAD

It's time to finally have a look at Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture's all-new title - KILLER IS DEAD!

W...Woooah!!
It looks pretty good.
And fun.

I dunno for you guys, but for me this looks like the combined sum of all the previous titles. Very Killer7-ysh (anyone remember that one?).
With No More Heroes' kind of universe/beat 'em all sword gameplay.
A dash of Lollipop Chainsaw for the fun/over the top.
The rockin' attitude and demons of Shadows of the Damned and some gunplay from it as well.
And Flower, Sun, and Rain's main character Mondo, reimagined from the ground up.
I'm not even kiddin'!

THIS is what I call a "next gen" game.
Making games look realistic or high-res, thanks to the "Unreal Engine" everyone's using these days? Anyone can do that.
But create a whole original design and art style? That's more like it, for me I mean.

Can't wait for this one~

Introducing Lollipop Chainsaw

I've just noticed I've probably never posted nor watched the actual Lollipop Chainsaw announcement trailer.
And since I'm currently finishing playing through every inch of Lollipop Chainsaw, 'thought it was the moment to finally do so.

Here's the kickass launch trailer that introduced Juliet Starling to the world...

A new kickass lady was introduced to the world that day, one that won't that no for an answer while chit-chatting with her decapitated boyfriend.

#MusicBOX - The Chordettes - Lollipop

I've been playing a lot of Lollipop Chainsaw since I got it.

The main story wasn't that long, the game felt like a much more arcade No More Heroes, really.
But with Juliet now more upgraded, and trying to score better results/unlock stuff, I've been still playing the game for a while now. (makes me remember...I should try getting back to Mass Effect 3 to finally finish it...meh!)

Anyway, I got this music stuck in my head for the last couple of days. So here, enjoy!

A very cool song from 1958 no less! (music was the best in the 50s!)
