This looks... pretty good. A bit more carnage, action and monsters than what the original films have used us to. But I guess that's what happens in a big city invasion.. Also people might not figure out the alien's weakness before the end of this film.

#KaijuNEWS Godzilla x Kong: Title Reveal

 Did you miss Legendary's MonsterVerse? Well, since the last Covid-released film they kinda slowed down... but here's the next chapter titled :

Who will be the villain? Lots of speculations depending which crowd you hang with. Average Joe youtube comments, kaiju websites/wikias, American blockbuster fans on reddit.. anyway, I've read everything from new original Legendary creations to returning hairy-version MUTOs, Son of Kong-style white-haired Kong, an alien, a Legendary version of a classic Toho monster (Gargantuan, Gigan, Space G, Destroyah even someone mentioning Biollante.. but I don't see that shape turning out to be a plant..)

Notice how this is not titled Godzilla Vs. Kong 2 but Godzilla X Kong.. Hmm.. I'm calling it, an hybrid Kong/Zilla mutant.

 And here's the first trailer for the 4th Hotel Transylvania film, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA: TRANSFORMANIA! The third one felt kinda final, but I guess it's nice to have another one.

This one marks a few changes. First up the first film without Genndy on directing duties (oh-huh..), and Adam Sandler didn't return to voice Drac as well..

Let's hope this is still kinda fun, it does look like so. And I kinda dig the entire premise:

I'm honestly more hyped for Legendary's take on Mecha-G than for the Godzilla vs. King Kong rematch - true words!!

Gimme more giant monsters! MOAR!!

Remember Universal's grand plans for a Dark Universe?

Ah. Good times. Good times indeed.

Well, they were pretty far in their production when they scrapped it all, so we still have the 3rd.. or 2nd film is it? (Do we count Dracula Untold? Part of me would say yes, since they reshot and added that whole modern-day epilogue..) Anyways one last non-Dark Universe Dark Universe Universal Monsters reboot arriving on the big screen soon.

It's a tale as old as time, in fact it's The Invisible Man! Here's the twist this time, it's gonna be more grounded. More scienc-y. Modern-day. With an horror take on The Invisible Man, science gone wrong, Invisible guy turns bad, creepy, stalkery and murdery....

...so Hollow Man?

Anyways, here is the trailer:



Looks about what you'd expect from a modern generic Inivisble Man remake.

To cut down losses after the flob of The Mummy Universal had Blumhouse Productions produce this film and do any rewrites/edits as they wanted to cut down costs.

I feel like this whole Dark Universe Universal Monsters reboot super-franchise concept would have had more chance to be decent by being allowed to actually being horror films AND setting them in their original time period of the 1930s-40s instead...

#HorrorNEWS First pics of...Critters: A New Binge!

Remember the awesome Critters films? Yeah. I love B-movies.

On the Critters' side, there's lots of fun official projects coming up. An actual new 5th movie is back on track, after a slow start. Made by Syfy, which will start shooting next year

But they also just finished filming Critters: A New Binge - an upcoming 10-episode miniseries revival. From Zombeavers director Jordan Rubin (originally for Verizon’s go90, a mobile video service that Verizon has since shut down). It looked like this project as scrapped, but just like Krites, apparently this project was harder to kill and they simply just finished it!

And these behind the scenes are spotlighting how fun the practical effects are going to be.

The creative team behind Zombeavers, Jordan Rubin, Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan, wrote and executive produced, with Rubin also directing.

Here's the official pitch:

“The critters return to Earth in search of one of their kin, who was left behind years ago during an earlier mission. They land in Burbank, Calif., where they wreak havoc on a group of high schoolers and their families.”

A new Tremors finally was recently released on direct-to-video, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, but we almost just got a new Tremors TV show featuring the return of the one and only Kevin Bacon, returning from Tremors 1!

SyFy almost greenlit this new Tremors series..

And now the Bacon himself just leaked this scrapped trailer which gives us a look at what might have been...

Taking place a decade after the original... Ignoring the sequels and older show.. And returning the action back to the town of Perfection, Nevada.

It could have been good. I feel that's in fact trying way to hard. Ignoring simply the end of the original film. (Not ignoring the various sequels, just the fact the end of the original film put an end to Grabboids in Perfection, no evolution or spawns in other places around the world...!)

I dunno, I'm not sure I could have enjoyed this without Burt Gummer. No Michael Gross, no Tremors for me!

The new Tremors film is looking pretty silly and fun! I love the fact that they went a completely different route from the last one! Also, it does look kinda decent, I like the look of the film so far.

The film will be out direct-to-video on May 1st.

Looks fun. And great already! The film was almost made without Genndy, but Sony finally waited for him to come back from making the final season of Samurai Jack. Good news indeed.

Much better than Universal "monsters universe's" reboot.

The film's expected for July 13 next year!!
