#MovieRecap DEADPOOL 2

For a movie that had remained titled “the untitled Deadpool sequel” I was kind of expecting to see the final product simply called “Cable & Deadpool” as a reference to the long-running comic series.

But I suppose Deadpool 2 works too.

Yesterday evening I went for a late night screening of Deadpool 2 over here. And to make things short, simply put, I loved it!

#Blog Star Wars: The Last Jedi

So I was finally able to go see The Last Jedi yesterday...

And it was.. Great!

I finally started checking people’s comments online and critic’s reviews. And to much surprise the film seems to be pretty... divisive among vocal internet fans?

Of course there were little nitpicks and details I didn’t like, like most movies anyways, but overall I quite enjoyed it.

Today I just received the best random book ever - The Official Adventure Time Cookbook!

Yes, it’s a real thing!

Pen Ward’s cult cartoon series has featured a ton of fun food throughout its 9 season run, so far. So as silly as it sounds, a cookbook based on the show is actually a great fun idea.
And all these - well, most of them anyways - are super easy too!
Jake’s meals are, of course, the best. But there’s a lot of fun meals and desserts in there!

#Blog Update - Where's the reviews?!

You might be wondering why there's hasn't been any new review in a long while.

The thing is the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017 have been quite hectic on my side. I've moved out to a new place, I've been doing a lot of work (only slightly slowing down on my commissions due to computer problems), I've been forced to change a lot of my hardware/buy a lot of new equipment (again, the old computer died, I was forced to buy a new one, then I didn't have access to the internet for a whole month before having everything set up...)...

All this really means, I kinda lost motivation to do these blog reviews which I had been doing since as early as 2010 (my very first one was the Resident Evil 1 review http://eyzmaster.blogspot.ch/2010/04/vgr-resident-evil-1-old-da-review.html ).

I still enjoy drawing those panels, but I kinda had such a long break I don't know if I want to put the same effort into researching and writing those...

Maybe the reviews will come back later on, in a much more simplified and streamlined version.

But for the foreseeable future they are on an extended hiatus/development hell.

Did people even read them? Who knows!

I guess this means I can focus again on comics - something big is coming up soon!

#RECAP Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

I actually went to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Christmas day. And since I finally have access to a (new) computer and the good ol' internet, let's try having a brief review of this film.

Spoiler alert, obviously.

Rogue One tells the story how the Rebel Alliance got their hands on the plans to the Death Star, which showed a huge backdoor vulnerability on the weapon.

Nothing to spoil so far, since this was all alluded to in the original 1977 film's opening crawl right from the start.

So how was the film?

While I'm still having some issues with my computer, I was finally able at work today to prepare this review I illustrated last week.

Let's go back to SILENT HILL one more time and see if there's anything worth looking back!

CBR Howard the Duck Vol. 0: What the Duck

A series about a cartoon duck trapped in a world he never made is my current favorite Marvel Comics. Who would have guessed that?!
