While people are getting hyped for a new Gremlns entry, the currently announced animated series, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, I would personally have preferred a new live action films featuring puppets.
Hey, but at least the show sees the return of some actors to voice on the show as well as Joe Dante supervising the whole thing.
But, hey, I do think it shouldn't cost that much to have actual puppets. Several commercials over he decades featured Gremlins and they mostly always looked on par with the films.
Here's the latest to date, for Mountain Dew. Which was made to hype the actual upcoming Secrets of the Mogwai cartoon, but is the closest thing we'll ever get to a proper Gremlins 3:
Awesome! This makes me hope we actually get the third film actually.. Even his daughter has her own mogwai in this future? I'm sold!

Here's one of my all-time favorite songs (thank you Joe Dante's Matinee!), in its classic original rendition and a more recent live presentation. And I must admit.. I kinda prefer the more recent live concert take - these old dudes put every youngster to shame! Now that's singing!!

The film is called The Iron Mask. It’s a sequel to the 2014 film Viy/Forbidden Empire.
It's actually a sequel to a Russian movie, and it originally didn't do too well in China last year. But, hey! It still looks pretty fun!
I guess this year's best Super Bowl commercial goes to Walmart! And My favorite part's honestly the little Bill & Ted 3 nod. (Are we going to see young Bill & Ted with their current selves in the new film???)

Marvel might be kicking ass on the big screen. But DC's been kicking ass on the small screen for a pretty long while.
Who expected to ever see a live action adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths... on TV... on the CW of all things??

With the JOKER film breaking all sorts of records on the big screen right now, here's SNL making a parody of it... with.. Sesame Street's Grouch. It just goes to show how silly the whole gritty realistic JOKER film concept really is.
Any modern Batman vs. Joker confrontation Warner Bros. will put out on the big screen won't ever be as epic as this surfin' scene from the Batman '66 show:

Here's the official Bill & Ted 3 announcement. I like how these guy's been wanting to make this film for so many years. I'm sure Keanu Reeves at least could have cashed in all his Matrix money and never bother to make any new movies.
Honestly, I feel like this might turn into something surprisingly really, really good. In a Cobra Kai-sort of way, if you get what I mean.
