Here's the first trailer for Jon Favreau's upcoming Disney+ series, "The Mandalorian"! And it actually does look pretty good, better than the recent SW films in my eyes:



I specially dig the look and the feel here. The robot looks more practical than CGi, at least more robotic and less "fluid". And I cannot wait to check this out!

Okay, it doesn't look half bad, but it doesn't even feel necessary, if you ask me. It's basically remaking shot for shot the 2-D animated Disney classic into a modern 3-D animated film...

Wow.

I do like the look of this new character for the upcoming live-action Star Wars TV show.

Long rumored and stuck in development hell for ages, George Lucas' dream of an episodic Star Wars tv series is finally coming to life thanks to the Jon Favreau-produced (yes! that's right!) new show which will apparently be titled The Mandalorian.

Very old west-ysh. I like that name.

The show will feature a rotating team of directors, including Clone Wars/Rebels alum Dave Filoni directing the first episode (!), followed by Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) no less!!

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

I can't wait! This might end up far more entertaining and original than the current sequel films/spinoff episodes.

#TV News! trailer for J.J. Abrams' new show Revolution

First up, the sad news (at least, for me :P), Bad Robot Productions' latest series, Alcatraz has been officially canceled.
Awww... But...I liked the concept! And the characters were fun...
I'll miss having Jorge Garcia in a show around... And Sarah Jones was great too...aww...

Don't care if you didn't like the show, I'll miss it all the same...
This will be Bad Robot's second canned show. I hope they'll put it out on DVD at least, unlike Undercovers.. (any chance for a "Complete Series" on DVD for Undercovers too? Boyt was awesome!)

On the plus side, Abrams already has a new show coming up soon!
Which will debut on NBC - hope he simply avoids Fox from now on. Fringe will also be ending....with a small ~13 episode-long 5th season...
Anyway, the new show is co-created with Eric Kripke (Supernatural)

MOVIE NEWS! Ironman 3 and Christopher Nolan's new flick

In case you didn't follow the news lately, a Ironman 3 will be made... after the big MARVEL crossover movie Avengers.

The "movie road" to Avengers is paved by (chronologically) by Ironman, Ironman 2, Incredible Hulk (which happens after Ironman 2 from what we can see with Stark Entreprise's evolution), Thor and First Avenger: Captain America.

And after that?

It seems there's gonna be a new batch of Marvel adaptations, after the Avengers crossover.
Like Antman! A rumoured Luke Cage! And Ironman 3.

Behold!! The Mandarin!!... He's got ten rings and his all evil! *sigh*
