The first proper trailer for Black Adam is out and... wow! This looks badass, but the tone is so different I can't imagine this mixing up with Shazam...
Also, I can't wait to see the JSA in a feature film! Awesome! And this Doctor Fate casting was inspired!
This new trailer for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle makes it seem actually kind of ok. I'm not sure I like the premise or even what they're doing with Jumanji.. but, hey! The cast is GREAT! I'll take more Karen Gillian over this dumb reboot:

The first trailer for Dwayne Johnson's Jumanji reboot-ysh sequel-ysh remake is out! And it's... well, let's just watch it:
I like the original Jumanji (and Zathura). And this seems.. to be missing the point. I love the cast, and I'm even ok with turning the boardgame into a video game.. But then all the clichés... Kevin Hart is short-jokes...
But the real problem for me is to bring the characters into the jungle, just doesn't work as well as bringing the jungle to the kids.. it becomes a much more generic traditional story instead of the creepy original tale that was the original Jumanji. With people not believing the kids, the animals running rampant in the house and the city...
This "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" sequel-boot will be released on December 20.
I honestly love the Stephen Sommers Mummy remake starring Brendan Fraser. Sure it wasn't a horror film anymore, but the adventure film-angle really worked and it was such a fun film.
Then The Mummy Returns came... and the film didn't understand anything that made the first one good.. nonsensical plot, nonsensical mummies.. and the worst CGi scene ever made on film:
Ugh.. Does it even remotely look like The Rock?? Or a bad PSX video game boss?? And why didn't they film his upper torso and put him in a green suit to CGi the scorpion part only?? Just... ugh...

Anyways, it gives us a first look at the character he will be playing next up to Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black! And it looks... absolutely goofy! In a good cheesy-kind of way. Check this out:
Wow! I mean, Karen Gillian looks adorably sexy, in a goofy Tomb Raider-kind of way. And they all look like characters out of a stereotype role playing game or... a boardgame! I wonder if they will only be fictional characters within the game... or if this Jumanji sequel/reboot/remake/prequel/whatever just completely missed the mark here...
