Wow. The crew at Revengeofthemask Film pulled off a pretty epic The Mask reboot trailer. Closer to the comic book tone, with references to the Jim Carrey film. Like the complete opposite to what Son of the Mask was.



Am I the only one that hears Yankovic's Amish Paradise in my head while listening to the song in this trailer?

#Comics NEWS! Itty Bitty Comics: The Mask

Aw Yeah, THE MASK IS BACK!

Dark Horse has been trying to revive The Mask several times these last few years. Both in film and in comics. But it looks like it's finally making a comeback... albeit in a different AW YEAH form.

Itty Bitty Comics: The Mask will be out in November, with Tiny Titans Art Baltazar and Franco both writing & drawing once more. The series is expected to be much in the same vein as their previous Itty Bitty Hellboy title.

"Itty Bitty Comics", heh? I see they're already planning to make more of these!

As both a big fan of their past comics AND the original The Mask comics, I can already say... sign me in!

I'll say, I always found the arrangement of "Hey Pachuco" on The Mask's cartoon opening much better than in the movie.

Don't misunderstand me, I do love the original song too, but with lyrics on the animated series' intro it was just that much more entertaining.

For those asking, Royal Crown Revue are a swing band who are often credited with starting the swing revival in the early 90's. the drummers name is "bam bam" Danny Glass and you are all correct, he is damn amazing. If you like these guys, also check out Big bad Voodoo Daddy, Bill elliot Swing Orchestra, Cherry Poppin' daddies, Brian Setzer and steve lucky and the rhumba bums. Also for those new to swing, check out the "swing this, baby!" compilation album. excellent place to start.
