After two awful questionable live action-animated hybrid films, The Smurfs go back to animation... although they remain CGi Smurfs! But maybe this will work better... right?



Gorgeous animation! Pretty weird music for The Smurfs... Actually this looks pretty fine so far. Also, Jack McBrayer and Danny Pudi?? Sign me in!

#Zombie NEWS! "Cooties" trailer

FINALLY!! The trailer for "Cooties" is out!

What's that you ask? A horror/comedy zombie film-parody I've been waiting for so long since it was announced like two years ago...

The film stars Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office and James Gunn's Super!), the always great Elijah Wood (let's see what review I can plug in here... how about The Faculty), the lovely Alison Pill (Scott Pilgrim) and Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) fighting a bunch of kids infected by a zombie virus cooties.

The film's expected for a September 18 release date.

People tend to say the Simpsons aren't what they were anymore and that the show sucks since these last couple of years, but apart from a pretty poor 20th Season, I've been liking the recent seasons moreso than, say, Season 10 for example.
