People like the bonkers non-sensical prequel/Elseworld show Gotham? Were kid-Bruce Wayne and kid-Catwoman are put aside to let young-Gordon face future villains arrived way too early like Hugo Strange, Mister Freeze, The Penguin or even a kid-Poison Ivy-turned adult-turned into another random actress later?

Well, now they will be doing the same to Superman with Krypton! A prequel series about Kal-El's family before Krypton exploded. But wait, that would be a pretty boring political drama on an alien planet. So of course we're gonna end up seeing the House of El face future villains like Brainiac, I'm sure. Maybe even the likes of Metallo, Doomsday and more! And they will be joined by Adam Strange arrived way too early on a different planet from Rann for no reason, other than the fact the CW's not using him right now.

I might check out just the pilot to see how bad it is, but I'm not expecting much from goddamn' David Goyer (Yes, Blade 3-David Goyer...)

#SDCCnews WONDER WOMAN and JLA Comic-Con Trailers

DC Comics released some new teaser trailers for the next upcoming films following Suicide Squad this year!

First up is the first proper look and trailer for Wonder Woman!



This actually.. doesn't look that bad! I like it! And check out, the new DC logo! Neat, I love the vintage look it has. Everything seems interesting. And there's even some touches of humor in the film! That theme song, tho!!

And next up is the first teaser for the film Zack Snyder, David Goyer & co have been working all along, the Justice League movie! Check it out:



They should just have scrapped Batman V Superman all along and go right to this crossover, right away.

I like the tone here, honest! But some stuff looks really bad here, specially The Flash's costume and Cyborg's whole design. And for some reason I was expecting The Flash to say "Super Friends" in that scene.

There's trailers for home releases now apparently!

If you didn't like the film on the big screen, I doubt this will change any of that. But Warner Bros. has revealed some informations regarding the upcoming Batman V Superman Ultimate Edition. It will be available on a Bluray/DVD combo pack featuring the theatrical and unrated longer cut of the film.

Look at that, will ya! Wonder Woman front and center! I guess the V does stand for Vonder Voman... err, Wonder Woman I mean. I know this will add extended scenes and put Barbara Gordon (played by Jena Malone) back in the film, but did it really warrant the R-Rated cut? Did they add any more blood or nudity? I doubt that. They're probably just riding off Deadpool on that. Anyways, here's a trailer:



But why is it Rated R, though? I would rate it M for Martha.

Today I finally saw Batman v Superman. That's right, I finally watched this one!

Today I also watched Joe Dirt 2 earlier one. And let me say it right away, both films were pretty bad, really random and complicated for no reason. But at least Joe Dirt 2 had the honesty to say it: maybe they overwrite the plot a bit too much.

#DC NEWS! SDCC' Batman V Superman's take on Wonder Woman

So, with the Comic-Con came several superhero-movie news. Including a first look at Snyder & Goyer's take on Wonder Woman. Check it out:

Besides a stupid title, it looks like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will simply feature the whole "Trinity" (aka WW/Bats/Supes). So why not call it Trinity: Dawn of Justice simply!?!

I can't and will never understand Zack Snyder & David Goyer...

Sigh....

Oh well...

You can check out WW's decent look for the film above, all 300/Zack Snyder-ified. It's... okay. The shirt is maybe a tad too short, I mean for a supposedly "Warrior". (let's hope the rumors about the Amazons being Kryptonian-offshoots be false...) And heels? Really?? REALLY?!

So it appears it's official.

David S. Goyer will be producing and writing the film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Sandman (what?? NOOOOOOOooooo! not this hack again! why is Warner Bros having him do every single DC film??) which Robin I mean Joseph Gordon-Levitt will direct and star as the eponymous Morpheus.

Yikes.

Did you know for a very long time the film almost happened back in the mid-1990s, pitched by Gaiman himself to the studios with some help from writer/artist Jill Thompson who already had some connections thanks to her work on stage, film and TV....?
