Kamala Khan gets her first live action treatment.. and I'm mixed. It seems fun enough, "for kids", etc. But I don't like the little changes to a relatively perfect concept. Her power set, her secondary cast.. it feels a bit too Disney show for me.

I've read some leaks, and they might have drastically changed the fun concept of the series for this live action translation.. yikes.. wait and see!

She-Hulk's finally coming to the MCU:

It's a quick rushed unfinished teaser, but it gives the tone of Shulkie's series.

Meanwhile one last Marvel, on a completely different tone, closer to the earlier Netflix shows:

Moon Knight was expected by fans for so long.. there you have it! Looks and sounds decent so far.

And finally here's some completely unrelated DC stuff:

The good doggos and other pets of the Justice League will get their feature! DC League of Super-Pets!

#MARVELnews Here's a bunch of news

 So apparently while I had the longest and craziest day ever, this friday, a ton of news were announced regarding all sorts of movies and stuff...

Let's start out with Marvel.

First up a proper trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier:

This seems fun, probably the only one that really got my interest..so far.

The Loki show could turn out pretty fun, playing with alternate realities and whatnot. Speaking of...

WandaVision seems like a fun take on sitcomes, fans of the recent Vision comic series should love it. 

And here's some more confirmations, fans have heard about one so far thanks to leaks from the shooting:

We're really getting a live action Disney+ series on Hawkeye (and Hawkguy and Pizza Dog) based on the excellent Matt Fraction run, and an unexpected She-Hulk series! I get the Hawkeye series. But why no movie for She-Hulk? And I know they love their Disney+ series.. but why not a single "made of TV/streaming movie? Oh, well..

A Ms. Marvel Disney+ series was officially confirmed as well. Looks decent, if a bit too Disney channel, in my eyes. (This would have made a great film as well, btw.)

So it's official, we're getting a new Fantastic Four reboot, now under the MCU umbrelly.

Nice. As someone who watched the unreleased 90s movie and the weird Fant4stic edgy reboot all I can say is... Wait and see. 

Peyton Reed is back to direct the third Ant-Man film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer all return. Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. pic.twitter.com/opXw1cmpFj

Here's the logo for the new Ant-Man and Wasp movie. It will apparently get Kang the Conqueror as a villain - nice!

We're getting a Disney+ show based on Secret Invasion... What an odd choice..? Wouldn't something of this scale work better as a full feature length film? I dunno...

We're getting also getting two shows based on Iron Man. An Ironheart for Riri, which I find kind of odd as well, shouldn't this be a film instead? Or are they afraid and testing waters with a show before bringing these new characters to actual films?

Captain Marvel 2, that was expected.

Moon Knight, I know a lot of fans were waiting for this one. It's gonna be a Disney+ series tho, not a feature film.

Before James Gunn returns with Vol.3, we're getting a (live action) Holiday Special! How random yet awesome is that??

And finally the odd one out. An animated What If…? series. 

Taking place in the MCU, but animated, to play around the continuity of the films. And even featuring returning actors voicing on the show. This sounds pretty cool. But I don't really dig the weird animation style personally.

#GamingNEWS Marvel's Avengers — Kamala Khan NYCC Announcement Trailer

This is honestly the first time this weird photorealistic Marvel's Avengers game by Square Enix has actually looked kinda interesting. It looked like a really off-putting fake MCU thing. But now it's actually starting to look like its own thing.

More importantly, Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan is in the game! And she seems pretty important for the plot actually - COLOR ME INTERESTED (finally)!!

The only question remains: will the mainstream audience think Captain Marvel's like the comic book publisher or main hero the MCU was waiting for, because of her name??

#MarvelNEWS Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors | Full Trailer

I still maintain this new series Marvel Rising finally looks a decent modern animated Marvel show. It's still no Spectacular Spider-man or Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but it's certainly better than the recent Disney shows:

So we finally get a look at the upcoming Marvel film Catpain Marvel, courtesy from Entertainment Weekly!

THE COSTUME is as good it would ever get! I'm happy with the result!

She does look pretty tired on the cover, but EW always manage to ruin good pics with so much photoshop edits...

Anyways, here's some better look at a few scenes from the film:

I feel like Brie Larson finally looks the part, in costume. Marvel certainly nailed the computer-wizardry to make actors look decades younger through CGi! Also, SKRULLS!!!

I cannot wait for this one, the plot sounds intriguing!

If this is anything to go by, she will have her kickass current costume on screen perfectly captured on the big screen.

Other points:

• Mohawk?
• The film takes place in the 90s! 
• Nick Fury with two eyes!
• Skrulls as the main antagonists...! Did Marvel work out a deal with FOX or did they just secretly reveal they got the rights to the FF back...?

#FanFilmFriday Kamala - Ms. Marvel Fan Film

While we're still highly awaiting for a big screen adaptation of Captain Marvel/Miss Marvel/Carol Danvers, the days Kamala Khan will join the MCU seems quite uncertain and distant...

..so let's look at a fun short film from AnitaBeME in the meantime.

Kamala is a no budget fan film produced by Anita Kalathara & Landis Aponte about Kamala Khan, a relatable Pakistani American teenager who also happens to be Marvel Comics' first Muslim Superhero! 

Wow!

This was great! Great casting too!!

#MarvelNEWS Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Teaser

Alright, it's official! The long-rumored Marvel vs. Capcom 4 - actually randomly titled Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - is gonna be a reality!

If rumors are to be believed, this game will apparently put less focus on the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters (thanks, Fox-embargo!). Which is sad since all these fighting games started with my much beloved X-Men fighting games... No Cyclops nor Wolverine? Let's wait and see. Here's the cinematic teaser-trailer:



Captain Marvel looks badass!

The game is expected for PS4, Xbox One and Steam next year, in 2017.
