Here's the newest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming new film, simply titled "Old".

 

I've enjoyed Shyamalan's recent batch of smaller films (even though Glass was certainly... the least cohesive one). Interestingly enough, this is the first one of his recent films won't be produced by Blumhouse Productions... I don't know how I feel about this, since I felt like Blumhouse was able to better canalyze Shyamalan's anthics through smaller productions and smaller budgets...

I don't know how I feel about this one, yet. Wait and see..

And here's the trailer for the long-awaited Ang Lee film Gemini Man. Or as I like to call it "Will Smith vs. Will Smith".

It actually looks like a fun scifi flick. And the digitally de-aged Will Smith looks pretty fantastic:



Ok, let me predict the film's twist right here: at the end turns out both Will Smith were clones and there's an even older one who's the actual original.

The film opens on October 11.

#AnimeNEWS CITY HUNTER (NICKY LARSON ET LE PARFUM DE CUPIDON) "Bande Annonce" (2019)

So french studios decided to adapt the cult classic manga/anime City Hunter into a new live action film (and the director's actually playing the lead role). And it looks...




....pretty weird. It's no Dragon Ball Evolution, for sure. But this seems the exact opposite, like cheap cosplays in a pretty bland and boring action/comedy film. I do like the girl, though. She seems to play the part.

And in case you're really disappointed, fear not. There's a new 2019 anime movie coming up straight from Japan:



At least they seem to remember the pulp/jazz/thrilller aspect of the series.

I can't wait! I always love me some TWILIGHT ZONE! In fact I enjoy every iteration of the show we got over the decades.

Can't wait to get back this cult anthologic series!!

#MovieNEWS RADIUS Official Trailer (2017) Sci-Fi Thriller Movie HD

This premise sounds like something I've read hundred of times in comics, but the execution looks decent.

Radius is a scifi film co-directed by Caroline Labrèche & Steeve Léonard, about a guy who gets the power to instantaneously kill anyone that gets too close to him (I think I saw this in an X-Men issue once..?).

Looks great. For now the film is only playing in festivals, but a proper release date will follow.

I've been cutting down on a lot of shows this past year. I dunno, I lost a lot of interest in most drama TV shows. Meanwhile a lot more cartoons have caught my attention recently. Let's have a look...

'The Belko Experiment' Official Trailer (2016)

Finally a trailer for James Gunn's "inbetween Guardians of the Galaxy films", which is actually directed by Greg McLean. An horror thriller titled The Belko Experiment, starring John C. McGinley, and of course a familiar face Michael Rooker:



This actually looks like Office Space mixed with Battle Royal. More so than whatever other films people usually say that look like Battle Royal. It will be out on March 17.

#MovieNEWS New Shyamalan film, SPLIT

After a surprisingly decent The Visit, M. Night Shyamalan is back with another film we all wish closer to 6th Sense and not Lady in the Water...

Split is a new film, featuring Charles Xavier himself James McAvoy. After the small found-footage experiment, this time it's a much more traditional horror film revolving around an idea played with in his last film - someone dealing with split personalities - I see what you did there, Shyamalan! But our character has 23 different personalities.... and it turns out he has a secret hidden 24th personality!! WHAT A TWIST!



No, actually I can predict the actual twist, hear me out!

It will turn out the psychiatrist is actually one of the personalities, if not the main personality trying to "kill" all the other personalities!

The movie will be out next year, January 20.

#Movie NEWS! London calling, and

I liked the dumb but fun Olympus Has Fallen. It wasn't as fun and Die Hard-esque as White House Down and took itself way too seriously, but it was a nice throwback to 90s action flicks.

Here's the trailer for the sequel nobody expected, London Has Fallen:



This might possibly much better than its predecessor. Just for the fact this is again all over happening to our main protagonist, I expect a few nods and jokes regarding how the same thing can happen to the same guy twice! London Has Fallen is expected to hit next year, on March 4th.

And while we're at it, here's a brand new better trailer of Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming The Hateful Eight:



Nice! This finally give us a much better look and idea at what the film will probably be like. This will mark the end of his "Western trilogy". The film will be released for this Christmas, on December 25th!

#Marvel NEWS! Jessica Jones gets a kickass new teaser trailer

Marvel just released a new "teaser trailer" for the upcoming Netflix show Jessica Jones, which might remind you of the Daredevil motion poster:



To remind you all, it's based on the Alias Marvel Max series created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and illustrator Michael Gaydos. All the promotional material seem to hint at some Noir influence and some dark humor as well.

I like how this show's been given a more purple tone (the Purple Man is coming!!), compared to DD's red tones. Green for Iron Fist and yellow for Luke Cage?

I gotta admit, I'm soooo pumped! I cannot wait for this show!
