Outcast Studios - LIVE DRAW NIGHT January 2015

http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
It's that time again...

This Saturday night was held another one of our usual LIVE DRAW NIGHT drawing jams at the Outcast forums.

Featuring 4 hours of non-stop drawing!

I tried keeping both my deviantArt page and my tumblr account updated all the way through the challenge.

It was fun, it was crazy, lots of neat fun art were produced by all who entered the jam! This time I was actually even in charge of the JAM session!

Here's my usual blog-recap of the evening. You can have a look at my past entries in these following posts:
- LDN February 2011
- LDN May 2011
- LDN September 2011
LDN December 2011
- LDN March 2012

Let's dig into the drawings I made through the night...

#Drawings - The Create-A-Monster Contest!

Once more participating to another of Atomictiki’s fun and original art jams!
This one was quite original,
The Create-A-Monster Contest!
The idea was to generate a random “creature” thanks to this fun lil’ generator.
And then, draw it!

Outcast Studios - LIVE DRAW NIGHT December 2011

http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
Hi guys!
Yesterday evening was my 4th participation in the Outcast forums all-new "Live Draw Nights" for this quarter!
(You can find all my previous blogs by either following my meme tag or checking out the following links for the LDN February 2011LDN May 2011 & LDN September 2011)

This weekend was yet another rude sessions of sketching, sketching and even more sketching!
Like before, I tried to keep my Twitter account updated as I went along.

If you're just joining me and don't know in what this LDN art jam challenge consists, it was roughly 4 hours long of various challenge thrown at us.
It's kinda like being in a "virtual convention" with various online members of the Outcast forums, getting various different challenges every hour and having to quickly (either digitally or traditionally) draw a lot of random characters.
It's a real challenging practice.
It was fun to get all together and draw, draw, draw! Keep our senses sharp and our hand fast. A great way to work your skills if you will!

Like the previous times, we had a great time. Various characters and fun ideas during the night.
Just trying to keep up is a fun challenge in itself!~

Now, let's dig into yesterday's entries!

Drawing - On The 14th Day Of Christmas

...On the fourteenth day of Christmas...

:iconatomictiki:'s suggestion, Hawkgirl Kendra Saunders!
I was gonna keep her mask on...but thought an X-mas themed Hawkgirl wouldn't really need the mask over her face... what d'you think?

I'm taking YOUR ideas, all your ideas, into consideration!
Just drop them on this page~

And I colored this one after that, for atomictiki's own Xmas ArtJam.

Outcast Studios - LIVE DRAW NIGHT September 2011

http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
Hey folks!
This weekend, with the crew at the Outcast forums, we had yet another one of those so called "Live Draw Nights"!
I tried to keep the rhythm, 4 hours of drawings sketches, while keeping my Twitter account updated during the night.
So, there's that. (if you want to follow me there!)

Like the previous times, we had a great time. Various characters and fun ideas during the night.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about... It's a art jam challenge, a sort of "drawing practice session" if you want. Divided in 4 hours, we received various characters ideas to draw under a specific time.
Lots of participants this time around.
The four hours got progressively more demanding and challenging.

Here's last session in case you want to check it out.

Let's check out my entries, if you please~

Outcast Studios - LIVE DRAW NIGHT May 2011

So, last night at the Outcast forums, we had another one of our "Live Draw Nights", where a dozen or so comic fans spend hours drawing characters after characters.

http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
It's a very fun challenge, it provides such an interesting and challenging practice session.
It's divided into 4 hours, were we:
- Draw 5-10 minutes characters on the first hour
- We draw half hour sketches the second hour
- Had an interesting rule in the 3rd one, do a "costume swap"
- Finish the last 4th hour with a much more challenging and complete drawing, based on someone's cosplay (this time, it was a pretty professional Iron Man cosplay)

There were some very interesting choices amongst the subject, they weren't even all comic book-related!

Let's check out some of the pics I've drawn last night, if you please!

Outcast Studios - LIVE DRAW NIGHT February 2011

Hi, guys and gals!

Today, here's something different.

http://outcaststudios.com/forums/
Last night at the Outcast forums was our "Live Draw Nights".
What is a "Live Draw Night", you might ask? It's an occasion, a moment every once in a while where a dozen or so comic fans spend hours drawing characters after characters online.
Like a convention, but more "virtual", heh :P

It's an art Jam, a challenge that provides a great practice session.
It's usually divided into 4 different hours, like so:
- An hour to draw 5-10 minutes sketches
- Another to draw longer half-hour sketches
- An original challenge for 45 minutes
- And finally a one hour long cosplay-themed sketch

Let's check 'em out if you please~

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing ART JAM retrospective

That's right, this is a little post about the Art Jam I've been running on deviantArt!

In case you would have a look at the original deviantArt Journal where all the fun was at, click this link!

So, I would like to have a little retrospective of the Jam on my blog.
A small recap, if you please.

But first of all, I'd like to thank everybody who participated in the Jam!
This ought to show Sega and Sumo Digital how much we love our Sega franchises and characters,
and that a wider range of characters from all Sega periods should have been representated in game!

A quick look at a compilation of all our different and various entries! Click it to see it in bigger and better format!
