#AprilsFool 2019 recap
Not a lot of great funny April's Fool, this year. At least I haven't seen any remarkable ones.

A fun SHAZAM! teaser trolling AQUAMAN fans:
A fanmade fake Splatoon spinoff. A great well-made "Splatoon Island" DLC campaign, that had so much work put into it it actually seems realistic. Fantastically put together by Mike Inel:
I'd buy that!
And the Tekken team announcing a fake new DLC, HARADA himself!!!
I know this is supposedly a fun goofy joke... but I could totally see this as real DLC. I'm sure fans (myself included) would love it. And, hey, it's not a goofier guest than, say, Negan or Noctis!
You win this year Tekken. And I only find the fan-made Splatoon one better by a small margin because the Tekken crew didn't make a video and just some fake screenshots.

#DCnews Aquaman actually... kinda looks fun + Also some bpCW Superman
Aquaman's been looking pretty good in the last few official posters:
It's a big departure from how Zack Snyder originally presented Aquaman (or the whole DC "murderverse" to be honest..):
It looks bright, it looks colorful, it looks fun. And I hope the actual movie follows suit (and we don't end up with another Suicide Squad... yikes!). Here's the rest of the cast:
Black Manta is absolutely perfect! And how come I didn't know Willem Dafoe was in this movie?!?
And while we're on the subject of DC Comics, the CW just released this pic to reveal their Lois Lane to appear in a later episode of the show Supergirl:
Very Christopher Reeves/Richard Donner Superman, I love it! They even gave her the same outfit that doesn't seem particularly appropriate to hang out in a cold fortress of solitude.. Also a way to announce how different their take is from the Man of Steel-universe.

#SDCC2018 The DCEU is looking.. slightly better?
Warner Bros. showed us where the DC Entertainment Universe's heading off. And you know what? Things are looking far better than last year.
First up Aquaman looks dope! Like Man of Steel, Batman V Superman and JLA should have been. Action-packed. Colorful but serious. In one word: epic!
I knew James Wan could pull off a better DC Comics-inspired movie. Look at BLACK MANTA!!!!!
But then they showed a funny, epic, hilarious and fantastic take on SHAZAM! It's silly, goofy but also adventurous and self-aware. That's how you do it!!
I didn't believe in Zachary Levi and director David F. Sandberg at first (yet another horror director, like Wan!) But they did it!! NICE WORK! Alright I finally wanna watch DC films on the big screen.

Did you know there's a Teen Titans movie coming to the big screen soon? An animated Teen Titans movie. A Teen Titans GO! movie actually?

I'm apparently just finding this one out.
But I suppose after LEGO Batman: The Movie, anything goes...?
I'm just glad there's a Cartoon Network-produced animated film coming to the big screen. It kinda gives me hope again for the rumored Adventure Time movie.

#TV News! New Robot Chicken season DC special!
Robot Chicken is going to return this year. I dunno for you, but this comes as a surprise to me. Without any new word on it, I thought the show was canceled!
To be honest, I'm glad it will be back. Let's see if an actual new season will air next year. For now let's just enjoy this trailer for the show’s new DC special!!

#DC Movie News! First look at Aquaman
Here's the first look at Aquaman - as played by Jason Momoa in the upcoming Batman V Superman film:

Looks like they're going for the whole Greek myth/Gods angle. Also - unit the Seven? The seven seas or the 7 JLA members, mmmmh...?
Speaking of. A new banner has been released, and it features a new promo pic of Batman to go along the Superman and Wonder Woman (and now Aquaman) ones:
If you look closely, you'll noticed this is actually a different shot of Batman and not the same angle as the "Sad Batman" pic, plus it's actually our first look at Bats costume "in color" (or at least, in Zack Snyder's desaturated "colors").
I'm starting to really think this movie should have been either called "Trinity" (hey, WW gets some spotlight in the marketing, she might as well by another main character for all we know!) or simply Justice League: Part One....
