#DCNews Teen Titans: The Judas Contract - Trailer Debut

And the upcoming following DC Animated Movie will be an adaptation of Marv Wolfman and George Perez classic storyline Teen Titans: The Judas Contract! Only it's being updated and modernized since all curent DC Animated Movies have been set in the same universe/continuity.

Check out the trailer:

On one hand: classic DC tale finally getting the animated treatment! Deathstroke!
On the other: I would have love to see it retain the original George Perez art style. And it's weird seind Blue Beetle in there (to fill in for Cyborg, since he's part of the current JLA roster).

CBR Green Lantern/Plastic Man

Time to review a little one shot from DC Comics I kept forgetting to review for the blog. (originally planned to do so right after the Plastic Man 38-page special...)

Why's that?
Is the story so forgettable I kept delaying this review? Or was it so great I just had to finally find some time for it instead of not reviewing it?

Read ahead~

Don't miss out my previous Plastic Man-related reviews!

Marv Wolfman's reaction to Scott Lobdell?

So Scott Lobdell has featured a pretty, errr, saucy Starfire in his current Red Hood and the Outlaws book lately...

 Starfire now.

Fans have been calling him an "hack" (a bit harsh if you ask me!).
Not just because of the pinup art and posing her around, he only writes the book not draw it!

But also because she was presented as a bimbo, asking for quickies to Roy Harper (Speedy/Arsenal/Red Arrow/whateva) and introduced by Jason Todd!Red Hood as merely an excuse for dudes to high five while checking out her butt.

Starfire then.

Unlike Marv Wolfman's deep and complicated Starfire, which was more 3-dimensional, was an actual character with feelings and passions.
The old Kory loved people, was all about the emotions she shined over others, etc.

Wanna know Marv Wolfman's reaction to Scott Lobdell's take on Starfire?

A picture is worth a thousand words!

Glad to see those guys having fun with the controversies btw, and Lobdell for taking like a man  :P

Comic Talks - Raven makes me confused...

I was thinking about Raven and...
Wow... Did I said that out loud?... Uh, this didn't quite came out as I intended it to...

Let's start over....

I was reading some "Titans" comic trade paperbacks from DC, and I started thinking about this character...
And while Beast Boy was all the time hitting on her, it started spinning some questions into my (geeky) mind.

Now that's better. Better intro.
