#HorrorNEWS THE BARN trailer

After raising some funds through an Indiegogo page, here's an unexpected retro 80s-style horror film!

The Barn is directed by Justin M. Seaman for Nevermore Productions. Here's the official pitch:

Its Halloween 1989, best friends Sam and Josh are trying to enjoy what's left of their final Devil's Night before graduating high school. But trouble arises when the two pals and a group of friends take a detour on their way to a rock concert, finding an old abandoned barn and awakening the evil inside. Now it's up to Sam and Josh to find a way to protect their friends and defeat the creatures that lurk within "The Barn".

#Cartoon NEWS! Cartoon Network 2016 #Pilot Season 2016!

It's that time of the year! Time to check on Cartoon Network's last batch of pilots, which they have been regularly airing lately.

A lot of modern classic CN shows from this "renaissance era" of sorts will be coming to an end pretty soon - including Adventure Time in about 2 years, Regular Show at the moment, as well as Gumball and Uncle Grampa. And while Steven Universe's been receiving a pretty solid reception, you never know whenever they might end it as well. So let's see what new creators have to offer, shall we?

I wasn't sure I was ready for another King Kong reboot, and I'm saying this as someone who's fan of most of those films, but this new film's looking pretty good so far:



The 8th wonder of the world is back!!

I already cannot wait for the new King Kong Vs. Godzilla film!!! :D

#SDCCnews WONDER WOMAN and JLA Comic-Con Trailers

DC Comics released some new teaser trailers for the next upcoming films following Suicide Squad this year!

First up is the first proper look and trailer for Wonder Woman!



This actually.. doesn't look that bad! I like it! And check out, the new DC logo! Neat, I love the vintage look it has. Everything seems interesting. And there's even some touches of humor in the film! That theme song, tho!!

And next up is the first teaser for the film Zack Snyder, David Goyer & co have been working all along, the Justice League movie! Check it out:



They should just have scrapped Batman V Superman all along and go right to this crossover, right away.

I like the tone here, honest! But some stuff looks really bad here, specially The Flash's costume and Cyborg's whole design. And for some reason I was expecting The Flash to say "Super Friends" in that scene.

#SDCCnews JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION trailer

There's a new DC animated series coming up. WB Animation released a first look at the new show, simply randomly titled Justice League Action:



It seems.. .decent. Kinda reminiscent of Spectacular Spider-Man, in a way. The tone seems to be a cross between Batman: The Brave & The Bold meets JLU. I like the different characters they showed here, and they even got Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill back!

Do you remember there's a reboot of DuckTales coming up? Much in the same style of the new Mickey Mouse (which are AMAZING!!) and with a tiny bit of Carl Barks in it apparently.

#SDCCnews Look at The New Tick!

Finally some pics of the upcoming reboot TV series of The Tick!

You know! That great obscure parody comic book series, turned into a great obscure meta cartoon, turned into a great cult classic TV series.

We now have Peter Serafinowicz, who is clearly no Patrick Warburton, but my problem personally might be with the new suit:

It just looks weird! I can actually see what they were doing, trying to distance it from the previous show, but it just looks bad. Why had all the weird texture?? They should have just gone with the comic book look and give him two big white eyes, Deadpool-style, maybe that would have worked better.

This new show will premiere on Amazon Video in August 19th.

I can't wait to see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist join forces! It will be like the Avengers, only with a blind guy, an alcoholic, a felon and a hippie!
