#DisneyNEWS Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King Announcement Trailer

So, this is pretty random, but well-timed with the modern remakes of these classic animated films released recently on the big screen.

Disney's going to put out a collection of remastered ports of the Sega Megadrive and Game Boy versions of the classic Aladdin and Lion King games. With some bonus features like filters, a gallery, cheats and even a SNES port of the Lion King (they could have added the SNES Aladdin while at it, it was different enough from the Sega version! But since it was made by Capcom...)

It's called Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. Check it out:

And here's finally the first proper trailer of the upcoming remake of Aladdin... and it looks as weird as I thought it would be.



Actually, scratch that. Will Smight's giant blue smurf is simply not working for me... so... cheap-looking. Like he's head's on a separate plan of existence from the rest of his body.. it just feels and looks completely off... Oh, well. Even Disney can't put out winners all the time.

Aladdin, stars the lovely "new Power Rangers" Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud as Aladdin, it will be out May 24.

Some new pics, courtesy from EW, show us the look and the tone the Guy Ritchie Aladdin movie adaptation is going for...  and it looks cartoonier than the actual Disney animated film!

It looks... Pretty cheap!

Aw man.. Aside from seeing Naomi Scott (the new Pink Ranger from the Power Rangers movie reboot) as Jasmine... I don't feel much confident in this new new Disney live adaptation...

I dunno how I feel regarding this newest Disney movie adaptation reboot.. From the look of the last shot, I'm not sure I like it. But everything else, the music and dialogues inspired by the original cartoon? I'm sold.



Guy Ritchie directing sounds intriguing. I like the casting of Jasmine and Will Smith as the Genie. The rest... wait and see.
