VGR Rayman Origins

My favorite platformer game in ages. Actually probably also one of my favorite games this past decade!

Rayman seemed to have completely fall off the radar, but he had the chance to get a great comeback, with a lot of style to boot!

I noticed I had 4 empty Megadrive/Sega Genesis game cases lying around. So I decided to play with my photoshop skills and work on a few "fake" mockup cover inserts just for fun.

Since the Sonic 4 games are simply digital titles, I decided to make a fake game case for the good ol' collection display.

I just loved how dino-tastic and childhood dreams-fulfilling Jurassic World was. I mean, that sequence with the raptors alone...! Also I always loved all those good old JP games, most of them were in fact pretty good all things considered. I'm just sad there wasn't a new game released on time for JW.. (yeah, we all know about the scrapped game) So just to have fun I mad a fake Jurassic World MD game box.

I really dislike the European/American cover of Empire of Steel/Steel Empire. The game completely loses the influence from the Studio Ghibli film Laputa! So I made a better custom one for my copy of the game.

#Namco NEWS! April Fools turns into real thing

Remember Galaga: TEKKEN?

That was this year's "prank" Namco Bandai made. This was the video they released at the time:



Well, if you like Galaga AND Tekken, you're gonna like this. Turns out it will become a real thing finally.

The game was just released on google play, here's the link.

It was made to celebrate Tekken's 20th anniversary and it's available for Android/iOS, free to download.

And to turn this into an actual fighting game news, here's the reveal trailer Namco just released for Yoshimitsu in the upcoming highly awaited TEKKEN 7:

Gonna post a bunch of new cover art designs I did recently, starting here with this one.

This one was for the latest cartmodd a buddy of mine just did, Eliminate Down on the Megadrive. (a Japanese-only release)
I started from the original Japanese cover art and redid the entire logo on Illustrator.

#SEGA News! And here's another Dreamcast shooter!

Been a long time since I last heard about another new homebrew title for the Dreamcast.
Well, not that long actually.
And here's another one!

GunLord was just released a little ago, but the German developers at NG:DEV.TEAM already have another title coming up.

NEO XYX is yet another "sh'mup" for the classic Sega system.
You can already order a Limited Edition (with the OST) or the rare Collector Edition (available for only 300 copies) that will contain both the normal and limited edition alongside a T-Shirt!

I'm glad that those guys are still making Dreamcast titles for fans, retrogamers and collectors alike^^

Gamin' NEWS! New Dreamcast SHMUP!

Announcing a new Dreamcast game!
What? How's that? A new "Dreamcast" game? In case you didn't know, the DC had lots of official and homebrew games released on it since it "retired" from the gaming scene!
Retro gamers, such as yours truly, love the DC and still support it!

Heck my Dream's still plugged into my screen and I probably played twice more DC lately than, say, the Wii...

Fast Striker will be released later this year, developed by NG:Dev.Team, already behind the excellent Last Hope.
