#GamingNEWS DOOM 64 – Official Announce Trailer

For the release of the latest installement, Doom Eternal, Doom 64 is finally getting an (official) PC port, as well as getting released on Xbox 1, PS4 and Switch. And like the classic Dooms back with the Doom 3 BFG edition, Doom 64 is also getting a brand new additional episode-campaign! That's some awesome news, and a great excuse to replay it once more.

I love Doom 64. I always felt it was the perfect missing link between Doom 2 and Doom 3 in its gameplay and atmosphere (developed by Midway or not). And it even works nicely as a prequel to Doom 2016. So it's nice to see it getting re-released.

I can't wait for Doom Eternal! In the meantime here's a great tribute to one of the best classic series, including some love for the community that supported the franchise to this day. AND DOOTS!

#BestOf #E32019 COMPILATION

It's that time of the year again. We got some gold ones last year, this year wasn't that great.. Neither show-wise nor comedic-wise.

Really, the best things about this year was Keanu Reeves' appearance as well as Bethesda' Ikumi Nakamura genuine wholesome presentation:

And here's some compilation for this year's best-of:

This year had some weird moments!

#E3news The big E3 2019 Recap post

Hey everyone.

This week marked the big E3 2019 even, in LA. You know what? I've been mostly offline this past week. So I finally decided to catch it all in one sitting. And boy, there's been quite a few great new announcements, tidbits, trailers and some occasional goofy and cringe moments in what was yet another packed E3 experience.

Since this is my page, let's only recap the things I'm interested in or I've something to say about.

#Design - CustomCoverArt PC Penumbra 1, 2 & Quake Champions

Please! Do not ask for these! This was a personal job, not outsourcing the work to other people. If you want me to work out something for you, I will do so for money only.

Since I got some more titles I was actually looking for on my steam library, I decided to improvise some mockup covers for them, just for fun.

I'm not allowing the comments below to avoid the spam I usually get on these.

#E32018 Day 1 Bethesda saves the day

After an okay start with Microsoft and a boring conference from EA, comes Bethesda to save the day.

I mean, I don't know about me. But all the stuff that caught my attention came from Bethesda's panel.

E3 2018 is fast approaching, and we're starting to get a lot of info regarding upcoming titles.

It seems like Bethesda has finally resurrected the old Fallout Online project under a new title, Fallout 76, a multiplayer Fallout spinoff project co-developed between their main studios and another side team. Check out the announcement teaser:

#GamingNEWS RAGE 2 – Announce Trailer + Gameplay

And SUDDENLY...

A random RAGE 2 was just announced by Bethesda!!

What!?!? I admit I have been wishing for it for a long time. And now that we got great new Wolfenstein games and an amazing new modern Doom, I guess we had to expect either a new Quake or a return to Rage...

(I admit I would have loved a new ip from id Software..)

And, speaking of, this one will be co-produced with id Software and actually developed by Avalanche Studios, the studio responsible for the 2015 open-world Mad Max game...!

So I wanna ask two things right now: Should we expect an even more Mad Max-ified Rage? And is id working on a secret new game or engine?

Anyways, here's the announcement trailer for this sequel to the 2011 underrated id Software cult hit:

Actual gameplay trailer tomorrow!

UPDATED: Now with actual gameplay!

Looks exactly like the original... only better! Same familiar weapons, mutants, weapons and vehicles.. with loads more personality! Me likey!

#E3News Quake Champions + Wolfenstein B.J. Blazkowicz!

How did I miss this one??

They also made some new announcements regarding the Quake III Arena-spiritual sequel Quake Champions through a cringe-worthy live trailer. At least this new trailer showcase more gameplay footage as well as the addition of another id Software icon added to the fray, the one and only Wolfenstein protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz!!

Awesome!

#E3News Day 1 - Bethesda conference

It's that time of the year! Time for a new E3 to either blow our minds or seriously disappoint us...

First to open up the E3 2017 show was the Bethesda conference. And they had so many surprises - I'm all on board for some of these new games!

#GamingNEWS Introducing... the Nintendo Switch!?

It's official!

Nintendo has officially announced their new system, the successor to the Wii U is already here! (Thanks "Wii U"!). And all the rumors are finally confirmed...

Introducing... the Nintendo Switch! Which is going to be an hybrid portable/home system console, Nintendo completely reimagining home gaming!

Their presentation even confirmed a ton of third party developers and a look at various proprieties like Mario, Splatoon and even Skyrim (!) to reassure hardcore gamers. Check this out!

Honestly?! I'm not really sold. At all. (Hey! I'm currently playing through both a Dreamcast and a PS2 title, I'm old school!) But the unveiling of this new system seems to be getting a lot of positive reception so far, at least from what I've seen online.

Wait and see...

#BestOf Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - The 'Hot Dog' scene

I really enjoyed Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. It was a lot of fun and even had a lot more humor than The New Order. The game started great with this funny and tense humorous scene:

VGR Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

The unexpected new entry in the Wolfenstein series (and a prequel to The New Order), which turned out to be a fun return to basics for the series.

#E3News Day One

Another year, another E3!

Personally I'm not expecting a lot to come off this year's E3. In fact a lot of great titles showed last year haven't exactly come out just yet (looking at The Last Guardian and Mass Effect Andromeda for example). Anyways, let's see what has come out of the show so far...

VGR Wolfenstein: The New Order

While I was gone, they set the world on fire. It wasn't a war anymore, it was a remaking. Some losses are inevitable. Some... unthinkable. Now they've built a new world. Armies of steel and thunder. They're rewriting history.

But they forgot about me.
