#MovieNEWS FURIOSA : A MAD MAX SAGA | OFFICIAL TRAILER #2

 Did you know that there's a new Mad Max film coming up? Alright, so it's a Furiosa prequel spinoff. But it still remains a Mad Max film.

I kinda wonder, even if that's what George Miller really wanted to make, why not slightly rework it into another Max story, and instead of a younger Furiosa just a new similar character. Keep moving forward. Keep Max in there to avoid making spinoffs. You know, the way each installment is basically a standalone tale. (Only nerdy US films are bothered by the continuity and timeline details...)

I do really dig the visuals tho.

#DeletedScenes That Justice League Movie we never got #3

Before Nolan, David Goyer and specially Zack Snyder got their hands all over the Justice League movie, Mad Max/Babe director George Miller was supposed to make the JLA live action film!

I've already written a couple times about this film in the past.

Like we already saw, it was going to be a film very much inspired by the DCU from the late 90s/2000s, with a similar roster of heroes and a similar type of story (with OMACs, etc.)

And now we can finally have a look at the only picture we'll ever have of George Miller's scrapped Justice League movie. A very blurry tiny pixelated pic of the JLA roster, but a picture no less!

It might look a bit weird and a bit cheesy. But it's certainly a lot more colorful and faithful than what we ultimately received. I particularly love Wonder Woman, the Martian Manhunter and the Flash! And even the silly looking Superman might have looked decent on actual screen, with post-prod effects and whatnot.

We can only imagine...

Thanks to Mad Max 4's success, people have been looking into that again. And now a whole documentary about this scrapped JLA movie is in production.

#Recap - Mad Max: Fury Road

I just came back from Mad Max: Fury Road.

And all I can say is: Terminator 5, Jurassic World, Ant-Man or the new Star Wars might all end up great films, but I just witnessed the most badass film of the year.

Dare I say, of the decade!

After too many decades of silence, there's finally a new Mad Max coming out on the big screen. And would you believe it, it's not an unnecessary prequel or yet Hollywood remake, but a bona fide new installment in the franchise, from the same director as the classic films.

Such as the first look at the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road, and this "sequel" (not reboot!!) is still coming from the original Mad Max trilogy director, George Miller!



Is it only me, or is Fury Road taking some cues from the id Software game Rage, itself inspired originally by Mad Max to begin with??

With the announcement that Zack Snyder & David Goyer WILL ALSO be the ones to handle the Justice League movie after the Superman Vs. Batman one.

While that isn't super-duper-news in my eyes, let's us this excuse to talk about the previous JLA movie that never got made...

This is a picture of the entire cast from the never-made 2008 film Justice League: Mortal, which was supposed to be produced by George Miller, co-writer and director of the Mad Max series (including the upcoming new entry "Fury Road").

It never entered filming, what with the Writers Guild Strike of 2007-08 hit the scene back then.

This photo was taken with the entire cast together at the time.

Yeah, this whole thing comes as a huge surprise. Like a huge random secret that was finally revealed. The secret production probably helped can the entire project since then that means there was no marketing involved at the moment.

The film would have featured Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Adam Brody as Flash, Common as Green Lantern, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, Teresa Palmer as Talia Al Ghul, Zoe Kasan as Iris Allen and Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord who was apparently supposed to be the bad guy in the film. So I guess they were going for the OMAC storyline?
