#Youtube - Jack Kirby Wake Up and Draw (featuring Tim Seeley)

Here's a fun lil' video from this past August.

"Are you a fan of legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby? August 28th would be his 95th birthday and we're celebrating it this year with Wake Up and Draw!"

Enjoy:

CBR Jack Kirby’s Fourth World Omnibus

You probably don't know that, but I'm actually huge Jack Kirby fan (...Who isn't?! Am I right or what!)

So without further ado, let's take a look at "The King's" very own original space epic he produced while he was back at DC during the 70s.
And I mean obviously....

ComicPageOfTheWeekend: Who are the NEW GODS?

Since I'm still completely in a Fourth World mood, let's have a little round-up of the cast of this space opera made in Jack Kirby - the very first multiple-part epic crossover that comic saw back in the 70s!

Here's several of this cast as seen in the Who's Who guidebook from 1986.

ComicPageOfTheWeekend: Comfy Darkseid

I've been currently reading Jack Kirby's Fourth World Omnibus, and lovin' every piece of it.

Here's the original "Comfy Chaise" introduction of Darkseid which would go on to become sort a running joke for the ultimate emperor of evil over the years...

AtoZ - E is for... Etrigan

Eyz' ComicBook Alphabet Challenge!
Today, E is for... the Demon... Etrigan!!

"Thus I tried, another character using..
Alas, it wasn't mine for the choosing....
For you see, the Demon, I had to draw!
Rhymes and alliterations was all I saw,
And so did I work on Etrigan anyway.
And condemned to talk this way will I be everyday..."

Happy Comic Book Day
