Keiji Inafune, you sure took your sweet time with this one, seems you
guys weren't entirely able to work this first Kickstarter experience.
Nevertheless, I can't wait!
I'm actually fairly certain I already posted this here on my blog once or twice on the past, but since I just found it again - here it is once more!
This is a video of Bill Gates announcing the Microsoft port of Doom as well as the arrival of Windows 95! Which marked the turn of games being played via DOS to Windows, a big moment in gaming history. Here's the promo video:
Are you troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night? Have you experienced feelings of dread in your basement or attic? Have you or any of your family ever seen a spook, specter or ghost?
If the answer is yes then don't wait another minute, pick up the phone and call the professionals...

Here we are. I came back from watching X-Men: Apocalypse yesterday. I can't believe this 4th X-Men film from Bryan Singer is already the 6th X-Men film since the first film was released in 2000 (9th, counting the Wolverine spinoff movies and Deadpool)
And you know what? I still enjoyed this film! Apocalypse was a far better film than I expected. It was fun. I actually would say the series' never been better as it is today, it's only getting ever closer and more faithful to the actual source material over the years. (WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!)
Here's an hilarious video compiled by CrowbCat, which has been going around news articles.
It’s already been a decade since fans have been awaiting for a sequel to Half-Life. Here's the various interviews where Gabe Newell's been seen talking about this vaporware of a game...
I love how it started with Episode 3, "to conclude the trilogy!", then morphed to simply Half-Life 3 because it had been too long since the actual episodes. And then at some point he went from "the game is coming up!" to "what game? I'm not talking..".
Haha.
As much as I adore the series, I honestly don't believe we're ever gonna see a continuation in my own lifetime.... HL3 is dead.
Now, where's Portal 3? (What? Valve don't know that number "3"? Just call it Portal: Episode 1 instead!)
CBS didn't want to renew Supergirl, so the (co-owned) CW swept in to bring over Supergirl to their network next season, where she will join the ranks of DC programs such as The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
To celebrate the arrival of the girl of steel (and tease the upcoming epic 4-way crossover next year!!!!) they released this nice little teaser montage:
"Time for a change"? Hope they bring her over (and SUPERMAN!!) to the DCW universe!!
All we need now is Constantine back as well! (or put him in Legends!!)
DC Comics just revealed the new logo they will be sporting on their pages starting with the whole Rebirth event. And all I can say is that it looks kinda retro:
Alright! I'm glad they got rid of the cheesy 2010s "pages turning" logo, it looked too much like something a random graphic designer came up with and not enough a comic book logo. This one actually seems to be a throwback to their silver age 70s classic logo:
But as fun it is to see them go back to that type of logo, I wonder how this one will look like on the big screen. That's right, with Geoff Johns now as the head of their whole entertainment division, this means this logo will also pop up on big feature films, TV shows and cartoons!
Part of me kinda wish they'd gone back to the '76 one, which is easily my favorite, personally.
I just learned one of my favorite comic book artists just died...
RIPDarwyn Cooke.
This year is starting to sound really bad. Not only did we lose David Bowie and Prince already this year, but now Darwyn Cooke passed away from cancer at only 53....
He did a ton of fantastic work I particularly love such as the fantastic DC: The New Frontier and the modern DC Comics The Spirit series which I adored.
He will be missed.
I'm still shocked, he was so young...
I didn't knew what to do, to celebrate this artist, so I'm just using this post as an excuse to post some of his best works.
If you didn't know the guy, take this occasion to check some of his work, his artwork is really well worth a look!
Alright, some fans - at BinarySunProductions - have re-edited the Michael Fassbender's Assassin's Creed film (or as I like to call it, Fassassin's Creed) with the actual game music. And it's a ton better than the cheesy cliché mainstream rap-music one. Check it out:
ALRIGHT! Now we're talking! I'm finally properly hyped for the film now! Why didn't they do that right away? Even for mainstream audiences this sounds a ton better, more appropriate and more epic!!!
The Red Turtle will be a French-Japanese co-production between Wild Bunch studios and Studio Ghibli, a story with no dialogue directed by Michaël Dudok de Wit. Check out this gorgeous trailer:
This looks absolutely stunning! I love the french comics "Bande Dessinée" look they're going for, the art direction is just gorgeous! And the atmosphere is very Ghibli-esque!
The trailer for Kevin Smith’s new film is finally out!
Following an attempt at leaving directing duties, Kevin Smith had a sort of comeback through the horror genre. Tusk marked the beginning of his "True North trilogy" in 2014. Yoga Hosers is the next "entry" in this standalone anthology series. After appearing in Tusk, these two small town convenience store clerks are in for a crazy adventure...
Johnny Depp's return really makes the film for me, his character was hilarious in Tusk. I hope he works as well here as he did in small dose.
This sounds like a fun silly film, not meant to be taken too seriously, just a silly film, having a good time without all the usual annoyances that come from big budget Hollywood productions.
I can't wait! I also can't wait for Mallrats 2 and Clerks 3...
