#MAD - Halloween with The Scooby Gang!

The Scooby-Doo Gang goes on a rampage on an Halloween night...
Here's a pretty random but fun clip from the animated MAD series!

What kinda 'shroom did these hippies smoke?!

I dunno for you, but it sorta remembers my own Scooby-parody here :P

#BestOf Hall Pass - Stephen Merchant's cameo

Here's a clip from a movie most have called awful or just plain bad.
Hall Pass.

But, hey, there's an awesome little Stephen Merchant cameo in it!

Best scene in the movie hands down.
Like the critics said easily “a scene-stealing” – EMPIRE

#RIP #JoeKubert

And today another legends leaves the world a bit darker...

Comic book artist Joe Kubert passed away tonight, sadly only three weeks short of his 86th birthday.

Mr,. Kubert, you will be immensely missed!
Joe Kubert was a legend in the medium, he worked for almost everyone and has done art on almost everything!
From DC to Marvel, but also other older or smaller companies, from coloring on Will Eisner's The Spirit at Quality Comics, All-American Comics, Harvey Comics, or my favorite, Fox Comics' own original Blue Beetle!

The legacy will live on with his songs, both artists as well Adam Kubert Andy Kubert (which work on Adam Strange I loved and reviewed here)

Don't miss these blog posts on Joe, much better into words than anything I would be able to...

Another great icon has fallen... :(

Here's a fun Twin Peaks/Deadly Premonitions comparison

Here's a pretty fun Twin Peaks/Deadly Premonitions comparison post I found.
It's pretty neat, there's some direct musical cues comparison on the page (how do you post those?!)

Old news, but good stuff nonetheless.

#MadTV - Bae Sung Waiter

Here's another Bobby Lee sketch from MadTV!

#OpeningTheme - The Mask The Animated Series Intro

I'll say, I always found the arrangement of "Hey Pachuco" on The Mask's cartoon opening much better than in the movie.
Funkier, swinger~

Don't misunderstand me, I do love the original song too, but with lyrics on the animated series' intro it was just that much more entertaining.

#Sketch - Can I Keep Him?

This was simply too awesome not to pass along.
Enjoy a lil' random sketch, in true 90s sitcom fashion, from the Nerdist youtube channel.

"Young Corey has brought a stray home and pleads with his mother to let Mr. Stevenson stay..."

ComicPageOfTheWeekend: Silver Age Y: The Last Man

Okay, not a real comic book page per-say, but too good to pass off.
It's a fanart, a Silver Age take Brian K Vaughan's Y: The Last Man!
