Gamin' NEWS! Spider-suits for everyone!

I've really been following Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions development and announcements, right`?

From early guesses of the dimensions to the latest revelations...

Anyways, here's some news from San Diego's Comic Con!
Marvel's just showed some new costumes for the game!
It seems like they will be unlockable in the game, but pre-ordering from K-Mart or Best Buy will unlock some from the start~

Comic NEWS! Batman: The Lantern and the Shazam! OUTRAGEOUS!!!

This Batman: The Brave and the Bold on the Wii is sure lookin' pretty fun!
And if the Boy and the blob on the Wii is anything to go by, Wayforward may be preparing some neat surprise in this...

Looks pretty fun~
Can't wait to play this one!
(PLEASE! Include Booster Gold!!! And a Flash!! Other Lanterns? Ted/Blue Beetle?! Some characters which didn't appear yet on the Brave and the Bold??)

Comic NEWS! SDCC: A buncha Marvel news!

The Comic-Con just started.
There's been a couple nice news here and there...
So I wanted to post a little bit about some Marvel-related stuff~

Gamin' NEWS! MvC3 new footage!

Thanks to Frobman for the heads-up!~

New Marvel vs Capcom 3 footage, showing 4 new characters in action!!

Wow!
Super Skrull looks pretty fun to play as! Love his Fantastic Four-style attacks!
Though is 3D model looks a bit...err..bland/boring to me?... (like he doesn't seem right, be it in color or structure... I dunno...)
The others, Doom & Chun-Li (woow! Never thought I'd wrote those 2 names side by side one day..) look fantastic!
The final character...that blonde girl..err.. she's from Devil May Cry, right? Well, dunno...don't care~

Let's hope there's tons of more characters to be revealed!~
(perhaps some original choices on Marvel's side, Squirrel Girl? Daredevil? Ghost Rider? not just Cable and Cyclops, and random popular X-men/Avengers.. and some cult fun-looking Capcom ones too, like Captain Commando, any Megaman, the Bionic Commando, etc... and not just fighting game fighters!)

Blog-blog update~

Updated my FAQ. (there's a quick link for that above the blog)

Oh, and I wanna update my earlier reviews (Resident evil 1,2,3/Prince of Persia 1&2/Elevator Action/etc..)
Have them adjusted to my current reviews-layout..
So that's what I've been up to lately :P

And expect more stuff coming these days (another comic, some different type of review and more~)

Multi-console gaming

For as long as there's been home console releases, there's been multi-console releases...
What is that, multi-console, you ask?
It's when a game is released on different systems.
Before games being released on Xbox 360 or PS3, there's been games released for Gamecubes/Xbox/PS2 and before that SNES/Megadrive and before that Atari/Commodore/etc..etc..

Now, I wanna just take a quick look at those sort of multi-console games.

Well, there's not a ton of options when a game gets a multi-console release.
It's either a port of the game, an "adaptation" or something different altogether...

Comic NEWS! Walking Dead sneak peak

I'm a big fan of the comic book series "The Walking Dead".
Like I reported back in some earlier news post, the TV live adaptation looks to be right on track~

A first glimpse at the live Walking Dead characters! Spot on!

We finally have some sneak peak to look upon. Some early footage!

CBR:Quickies Green Lantern

Today I'm gonna review a bunch of the current Green Lantern stuff since Geoff Johns resurrected the character & brand! All books since the relaunch, up until just before the Blackest Night event~
(since it wasn't all released in paperback form and it will be better to have a look at the whole Blackest night when everything will be available)

We'll check some pre-Geoff Johns book some other time!

VGR Splatterhouse

Are you ready for some gory, violent, brutal old school beat 'em all action?!?
Are you ready for the Splatterhouse!?

In case you missed it, I've recently posted the Japanese manga and the American comic page telling Splatterhouse's plot.

Comic NEWS! KNIGHT AND SQUIRE #1

I don't really post up news about comics on this blog... since those news are so easily available everywhere (other blogs, websites, etc..)
But why shouldn't I afterall?!

A new Bat-book is about to his the stands.
From the pages of Grant Morrison's run on Batman comes:

KNIGHT AND SQUIRE!
I really liked these two characters. A very fun take on the duo of Batman & Robin, a british take on them!
It will be written by Paul Cornell, with art from Jimmy Broxton and covers by Yanick Paquette.

Here's a word from Cornell:
"I'm very pleased to say that my second book for DC Comics is a very British one. Knight and Squire appeared most recently in Grant Morrison's Batman run, and they come from a deliberately over the top, tremendously fun DC Britain that had previously been only slightly explored. If Captain Britain was a more realistic take on British superheroics, Knight and Squire delights in Mary Poppins absurdity, in what I think is a quite 2000AD way. The artist on this six issue miniseries is the great Jimmy Broxton, who I've found shares my joy in all things Round the Horne and Carry On. Check out the story at DC's blog here. And here's Yanick Paquette's lovely cover to our first issue"

It's only a mini-series for now, but I really hope this gets made into a regular on-going series!
Yeah, yeah, we already have Batman & Robin, Batman, Gotham Sirens, Red Robin, Azrael, Batgirl, Batman Confidential, Birds of Prey, Batman Beyond and Streets Of Gotham.... Did I miss something? :P
Another Bat-book!
But I really think this one deserves a chance! It's a british armoured Batman, Knight! And his Squire! Come on! The concept itself makes it a lot more interesting than, say "Batman" (no the Batman & Robin book, the other one) or Batman Confidential (telling past events in Bruce Wayne's life, I prefer mini series or one shot for that!).

Anyway, I'll check this out when it will come out! Like I said, 'love these two characters!

Music Trivia #03 the music of: Die Hard

Here's another installment of my music trivia!
With the kind of blog updates, I hope, you can keep for later when you have time to enjoy...And listen to, calmly sometime, be it at work (well, that is if you have the kind of work where you can listen to music, or while working on homeworks...) or while reading, etc..

Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..

Today's topic, as you can guess, Die Hard!

ComicPanelsOfTheWeek: Splatterhouse

Since the Splatterhouse series is soon coming to my blog in a 4-part-er review, I decided to present you the game's storyline with this little manga done for the japanese version of the PC Engine port of the game:

Once night, while the renowned Dr. West was experimenting late in his house...
...Rick and his girlfriend Jennifer  decided to take refuge in his West Mansion...
...Once arrived, they were attacked by creatures... Got separated...
Rick woke up in a room alone with a very strange mask attached to his face...
