It's been a really long time since I was last hyped for a new Sonic game, but this upcoming title Sonic Forces seems like a nice return to the Day stages of Sonic Unleashed/Sonic Generation, which I'm all for. It's also basically Sonic Generation 2 in all but name, from the looks of it:
