Here's the trailer for the new Mortal Kombat, finally! Like the recent games it seems much more focused on the ninja clans than on the Earthrealm vs Outworld tournament. Check this out:
Honestly all this looks really great. The only thing I don't like is the random non-character "Cole" being the main guy. Why didn't they just call him Johnny Cage, for example? But yeah, just keep Liu Kang as the main character, how difficult is that (and please don't outfit like Ryu from SF! what was that about?)... Also, did I hear an orchestral remix of the classic MK theme?
Mortal Kombat hits HBO Max and theaters on April 16.
