I knew this wasn't really going to be Space Jam 2. From the previous previews, this seemed to be something closer to Wreck-it-Ralph or Ready Player One...
Warner surely want crazy with the virtual reality and WB-approved cameos on this one, heh.. Check it out, Space Jam: A New Legacy!
Jack Nicholson Joker, Jim Carrey The Mask, Burton-Catwoman, 60s-Catwoman, The Iron Giant (WB going against everything that the Iron Giant stood in his own film - putting him into big epic action scenes-cameos.. again..), The Jetson, Space Ghost and many more.. I can already imagine all the clickbait articles and videos screenshoting this trailer instead of talking about its quality... Quantity has replaced quality in this day and age.. sigh..
I'm not saying Space Jam 1 was high quality either. But it certainly had more heart, for a simple dumb movie about Michael Jordan playing basket with the Looney Tunes, despite it being a film based on a commercial...
All I'm saying is I'm gonna rewatch Back in Action this week.
Anyways, "A New Legacy" opens in theaters and HBO Max July 16.
