I got all previous Sonic Anniversary limited edition releases before. So I had to grab Sonic Colors' 30th Anniversary, no matter how people are criticizing Sonic Colors' Ultimate remaster.
(Fun side note: I never liked this game much. This remaster won't change my mind. But the Ultimate remaster isn't that awful. I forgot how short this game was, I'm already close to finishing it despite only having played it for a couple of hours...)
This Anniversary pack was only released in Japan (kinda like Sonic Adventure 2's 10th Anniversary limited edition).
There's a special book and CD "Life in Sonic's World vol.1". You can play the selected music trax along the illustrated book to get in the mood for these beautiful artworks (and Japanese stories).
Speaking of, here's the 30th Anniversary collector next to the 10th Anniversary one. Both came with their respective select musics from the series.
And both came with a lovely gold coin!
I like comparing how tiny the previous Anniversary collector was.
Anyways, this was kind of missing a statue, I feel.
Also did they plan all this for Sonic Rangers, initially? Did Covid sidetrack that Anniversary game's release and they improvised this collector for Sonic Colors? Who knows...
