VGR PoP Forgotten Sands [PSP Version]

The Sands of Time Trilogy might have been closed with Two Thrones but with a new interest in the series thanks to a movie adaptation, Ubisoft thought it was a good commercial move to bring the series back in an all-new episode just for this time.

The game was released amongst most systems. In what I like to call the "Forgotten Sands chapters" (which would have made a much better title for this game IMO).
Like Untold tales or Missing chapters, all these games across the different consoles aren't the same but instead different episodes taking place in the 7 years gab between The Sands of Time and Warrior Within.
This is a review of the "PSP version" available exclusively for the PSP system.

Ad - Chili's "20$ Dinner for 2" Commercial

Here's something random but still very much in the subject of the other ones I posted lately :P

Is she gonna do that all night?? Run for your life, dude!!

ComicPageOfTheWeekend: The Fastest Pig Alive

There were a lot of "Kodak Moments" in Wonder Woman's on-going series before all those reboots of late.
But nothing beats the Flash-Pig in my eyes :P

Gamin' NEWS! 1 Tekken X Street Fighter concept art

Here's one concept art from the upcoming Namco title Tekken X Street Fighter, which is better than nothing.

If anything it does show the more realistic approach the game will go for.
Hopefully it will be done in true Tekken-fashion :P
(loads of characters, alternate costumes, character customization, etc..)

Side note: Part of me had wished for a Virtua Fighter X Tekken for so long... I hope this launches a Vs. Series trend at Namco XD

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: Batgirl

Here's an AMAZING Batgirl cosplay I found on tumblr:

Looks like one of the Chuck Dixon-era Batgirl covers live!
Outstanding!

<3 <3 <3

Ad - Chili's Stop-Motion Commercial

Here's another Chili's Commercial!
This one is from 1997 and features some stop-motion Old West chili!
Yes, you read that right!

Enjoy~

We may not have Chili's, down here, but doesn't mean a' can't enjoy this video nonethless :P
Plus I always had a soft spot for Westerns, and stop motion, so...
<3

FanFilmFriday: Farm Sluts

For today, here's a little short film directed by Collin Friesen and starring Chris Parnell (Dr. Spaceman on 30 Rock).
It's a little dark comedy best described by the authors:
Fox Searchlab presents this dark comedy starring SNL's Chris Parnell about a successful 30 something who is fired for accidentally visiting a pornographic web site during office hours. His life unravels when the false accusation prevents him from gaining alternative employment...
Without further redo, enjoy:

Blog - DC's "New 52" designs and opinion

I'm not enjoying a lot of the revamped designs Jim Lee & co did for DC Comics' reboot "The New 52"...
Too much "EXTREME!! 90s"-ness overall.

On the other hand I would have preferred if someone like Art Baltazar did all the redesigns instead.
For one the designs would have been more tasteful and suiting the characters.
And two, there would be room enough for artists interpretations.
(unlike the messy busy designs everybody, from George Perez to Dan Jurgens, have to work with now...)

So here's two Teen Titans gals I tried to base the looks on their Tiny Titans incarnations.

Might pick up one of those two to ink/color...

Random? Yes!
Enjoy anyway!

Ad - Chili's Nsync "Baby Back Ribs" Commercial

Who said Baby Back Ribs?

Here's the actual Chili's Commercial - featuring one of those dozen Boys bands everyone forgot about, Nsync!

It starts a bit silly and then goes into awesomeness, full speed!
(you gotta love that guy at the end "...with barbecue Sauce!")

The Titanic - powered by Crysis

Here's something fun!

A talented dude took the time to rebuild the entire Titanic on the CryEngine 3!
And it is most impressive *grabs own beard*

The framerate was downgraded a bit to run the thing (which some kids didn't a second not complaining about...sheesh!..) but still, it looks amazing!
Fantastic work!

Kudos to you!

Summer of Sonic 2011 - retrospective.

A lil' retrospective on this year's Summer of Sonic was just made available on youtube.
It was a pretty fun event, I know it, I was there!

Aaah---good ol' Summer of Sonic 2011.
Good ol' sweaty, busy and hot enclosed-space SoS 2011.
It was fun, even with all the nerd sweatness around.

BestOf - Scrubs "Baby Back Ribs"

Lately I've been missing Scrubs....
Remember Scrubs? Man..that show was awesome... So funny, original. Unlike the hundreds other medical shows out there...

Anyway, I've been enjoying watching back some scenes off youtube.

Here's a fun lil' scene featuring the in-story music band of Ted & The Blanks!

Ha! XD

Chris Parnell - TMZ Spoof

Here's a little parody sketch with Chris Parnell!

Batman Arkham City DLC

So Robin, the last character DLC for Batman: Arkham City was released yesterday!

I actually really like how Robin was handed here.
I personally only play him in his Red Robin guise, since I dislike the gangsta/thug head-shaved Prison Break-style from the game. Just such a silly "gritty" design for Tim Drake (who looks too much Damian Wayne for my taste here) . Kids will love it, I'm sure. But I find it so plain bad and boring...

Red Robin rocks!

Anyways,
It was all fun and games...though I'd wished for these following ideas.

COOLAPE Wednesday - Sonic Generations

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: Incredible BioShock cosplay

Wanna some outstanding cosplay in action?

Here's the best BioShock cosplay, bare none, I've ever seen.
The attention to the details, the portrayal...Even the photoshoot is amazing!

They perfectly captured the feel and tone of the game here, didn't they?

Man I hope we won't see the day Hollywood will ruin this franchise with one awful lackbuster film feature... Because we all know they won't be able to produce only half of the quality seen here!

TV News! DC Announces Booster Gold on-going tv series!! FOR REAL THIS TIME!

Remember this April's Fool?
Well, the joke's become an actual news!

The Syfy Channel will be picking an actual TV Pilot based on Booster Gold as part of a Warner Bros./DC Comics deal.

You can read more on that at the hollywoodreporter.com
They've ordered a pilot for a one-hour drama based on the character
The story will have Booster as a washed-up athlete from the future who goes back in time hoping to become the world's greatest superhero. As in the comics, his focus is on fame and fortune.
COULD BE AWESOME, if done well!
I think this project as a lot more chance and possibilities than the way Warner was developing that Wonder Woman TV Show.

And I do like Syfy current shows quite a lot, great directors and writers around that channel. (like Warehouse 13, Eureka, Haven, Alphas... so many well done shows, even on small budgets)

Dane Cook on the Saturday Night Live

Here's a great bit of Dane Cook, when he hosted a SNL show.

Dane is the rockstar of stand-up comedy!
Been listening to his various CD releases lately, great stuff :D

Gamin' NEWS! Some Beyond Good & Evil 2 news!

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is still alive!

Best DVD Commentary Ever - Arnie on Conan The Barbarian

You know what's better than a DVD Commentary by Schwarzenegger?
Another DVD Commentary by Schwarzenegger!

Have some of the awesome reparties between the Governator and with director Jon Milius on the classic badass film Conan The Barbarian!

An already awesome movie, made awesomer!

And kids prefer Rifftrax over the actual movie commentaries... -tsk!-

Looney Tunes Show - "Skunk Funk"

Music time~

From a recent episode of the new Looney Tunes Show!

About time Pepé Le Pew got some more screen time and a song!

Best DVD Commentary Ever - Arnie on Total Recall

Here's what is without a doubt one of the best DVD commentaries ever produced!

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s commentary for Total Recall:

I really need to watch this movie again!
(mmmh... a Schwarzenegger-marathon...it's been quite a long time since I last saw one of his movies...)

Ad - Schwarzenegger complete Japanese compilation

I know, I know... I already posted some Schwarzy ads and was planning to continue...
BUT
I just found this complete compilation!

Let's enjoy ALL OF THEM in a single sitting!

Always loved those zany crazy wild beer ones more than the rest.
Enjoy!
*flies away* V!!

And that's it for now~

Kevin Hart buying his own comedy DVD

Here's a fun video of Kevin Hart checking out if in Omaha are buying his own comedy DVD "Seriously Funny".

...hey, I would do the same if I had something of my own available in stores!

AwesomeCosplay Pics of the day: New Ghostbusters

Ad - Nic Cage Complete Pachinko Commercial Collection

I love Nic Cage, I seriously do.
He's a fun actor, a great guy and has magic hair.
Also, he's an immortal vampire.

And the dude's pretty funny and even if over-the-top, will always throw himself completely into the characters he plays or the movies he appears in.

Take these following Japanese commercials.
Nicolas Cage did a series of ads for Sankyo, a Pachinko maker (awesome sort of pinball/slot machine hybrid games).
And they're all crazier than the last!

I actually thought I had posted these a long time ago, so I wanted to post all of them on by one, but thanks to some dude on youtube, here's a compilation featuring all of them!

Enjoy!

30 Rock - Captain Donaghy

Jacky D. allows himself to let his childhood dreams take him away from his usual serious and adult personality.

Simply put, one of my favorite little scenes from 30 Rock, I was surpised I couldn't find it online so I took it to upload it on youtube m'self :)
